About this item

  • The SES-A-V-SYNC is a L/R In-Out audio-video synchronization corrector.
  • Another way to describe it is it is a compact device that corrects audio delays between audio and video.
  • When distributing video over long distances through multiple devices like distribution amplifiers and set top boxes there can sometimes be a noticeable delay which results in audio being played before the video.
  • This also happens when the audio from sources is sent to audio amplifiers over analog lines while the video is send to the display over HDMI or digital lines.
  • The SES-A-V-SYNC can be manually adjusted so the audio delay can be set from 0~300ms in set increments so you can perfectly synchronize your audio and video -so when the program is viewed the audio and video are perfectly synched-up and good to go.

If you want to connect the audio from your smart TV to your analog sound system using a D/A converter you will get a slight delay between the 2 outputs and this little delay solves the problem perfect with absolutely NO loss in sound level or quality! Just connect it in line from the D/A converter to your system's input and fine tune that annoying slap away! Exellent item and well worth the price!

I have looked for several years for a product that would sync FM transmitters with complex video systems. Finally I found this which works perfectly and easily.

I've got 2 separate sound systems on my tv. One stereo using AV inputs and the sound bar using HDMI ARC. It got unsyncd and could never sync them together again. Was a lil skeptical about the price but once I got it and it fixed my problem, made me so much happier about purchasing it.

We have a digital mixer at our church and use "NDI" to send video to our TVs, so between the two, there is expected delay between the audio and video. We play videos from our computer and the sound is way faster (in nature) than the video. We run our computer's audio into this and then out of this box into our sound mixer. We set the delay (200ms for us) and it is so much better with this, no more awkward words before lips move.

I use open back headphones to listen to my TV, while my wife listens with the soundbar because we like to listen at different volumes. The headphones are connected via a DAC (digital to audio converter) to the optical output of the TV. The soundbar is connected via the HDMI eARC output. The two were never in sync, with the optical feed being earlier by 150 ms causing an annoying echo in my headphones. No adjustments on the Samsung smart TV could solve this problem but this amazing little device connected to my headphones did! I usef RCA to 3.5mm splitters to splice this device into my headphones cable. It worked perfectly. The sound quality was good but there was a loss of volume after connecting this, which I corrected with a volume adjustment on my DAC.

I am using two of this item to help sync my video and sound for two live streaming systems. I have to transmit, by way of cat6 cable, my video signal from the camera to the sound system area. The transmitter/receiver system that I am using causes a delay in the video. I bought this item to delay the sound so that when I send the video to the social media site live, the picture and sound are closely in sync. I am using the max of 300 MS delay to accomplish this. It would be nice if there were still longer delays because I could still use a few more MS to be exactly in sync, but this makes it close enough. No one watching the live stream have complained. It is really simple to use.

This device is absolutely awesome. I searched blogs all over regarding audio lip-sync issues when audio is faster than video and found very little solutions other than purchasing a new digital-ready amplifier and feeding optical-audio through TV. I finally searched Amazon and came upon this solution. This device will help those directly connecting their cable box/input source to their analog sound system (via RCA). In my particular case, the sound was off by 100ms. I set it and it was immediately in sync - 5 min set up. The device can easily be tested by turning up the audio on both the TV and the stereo/amp - then adjust until there is no echo (both TV audio and amp in sync). Audio quality is excellent - no different with the device. Note: This is a powered device, so you need a power strip nearby.

The ear/eye picks up on anything out of sync for more than about 30ms. This item does 50ms increments ONLY. I used this for correction delay between an AV receiver's zone1 and zone2 (in same, large room). If your sources (zones) are not almost perfectly in sync, like less than 5 ms, you could get a flanging sort of effect. I tried this item at it's 50 and 100ms increments and it was very close, but not precise. For more precise control, try the RTS-200C RadioTVsync. I bought one, although priced at 199, it works perfectly for my application (at 75ms delay) and is as precise as you can get at 1ms increments. Retuned this one, otherwise I liked it (especially the small size). In this case, more money does buy more with the RTS-200C.
