Attempted to use this on my mac mini.There was no download link on the product page, or url in the instructions. I had to scan the QR code in the manual then airdrop that to my mac mini...very roundabout way to get the software, which is fine.After I downloaded the driver I attempted to install the driver/application and appeared to do so successfully. However when I went to start the program it asked to access and record my screen...I did not like that at all so I denied the software the ability to record my screen.Also, one of the ends of the USB C cable kept falling out of my mac mini/was really loose.

The adapter has 2 video outputs, one 1080p and one 4K. The 1080p output produces a 4:5 aspect ratio even when the input video has a 16:9 input aspect ratio. In my opinion this greatly reduces the usefulness of the 1080p HDMI output. The 4K output maintains the aspect ratio of the displayed video. The adapter does produce an output on both HDMI ports when the video on each port has a resolution of 1080p. When the 4K HDMI port is connected to a 4K monitor and the 1080p HDMI is left unconnected the resolution of the video displayed looks of good quality. The motion of the video has some lagging and blurring with fast movements but it not excessive. The adapter is unable to support both a 1080p output on one port and a 4K output on the other port. The video on the 4K port becomes unstable and the image jumps all over the screen. In my opinion only the 4K port is useful.

The "MT-VIKI USB 3.0/C to HDMI Adapter for Dual Monitors" is fantastic and works solid with Windows 11 Professional on a laptop. While I did not download software, I did run Windows Update and it found the driver for it then installed it for me.The device itself has great build quality and the USB connectivity makes it easy to use. Testing shows it works just fine with excellent pictures quality. Not only did it allow me to duplicate the screens, it also allowed me to set up an extended monitor. I tested it with a Dell monitor as well as a 12-year-old Sanyo TV without any problems.Do I recommend this devices? Yes!

I am using this adapter to split my hdmi port on my laptop to 2 hdmi monitors. Works perfectly. Even better, I can use it for my newer computer that has usbc port, and my old which has usb. I can't tell a difference with the screen resolution once split. All in all, great product with a nice price.

I'm sure that this device works well once installed properly, but I didn't realize that you have to install a driver to use it. I am not willing to do that, and it should not have to be this way, so I'm subtracting one star to be fair, but I won't be using it.

I'd love to report that this was the best cheap little device for my home office. Alas, I can only report that it was cheap, but far from the best. It did not work with my 2021 Mac Air. It was as though I didn't plug it in at all. I tried it with both USBC and USB sides, neither of which made a difference. I even plugged it into my Apple USB adapter cable and also tried plugging it directly into my docking station for kicks and giggles. No giggles here, folks, but I did want to kick it. It is currently sitting in my giveaway pile.
