The buttons on the top hardly work, you press them a ton of times before it switches to another source. It used to auto turn on my monitor when my PC turned on but now it no longer does that. The remote hardly works either.Update I resolved the monitor issue I was having by unplugging it for awhile and resetting the settings.

I needed to switch my 4K HDMI cameras and split them and this works well for that. Having the switch and splitter in the same unit is more liable and has much less wire mess. I personally prefer the plastic HDMI switchers and splitters because they don't scratch things. I do wish it has RS-232. I don't like how channel 1 is on the front, I wish it was channel 4.Orei is an American company, so that alone is a good reason to chose them.

The buttons to switch inputs don’t register presses most of the time. It seems like it has trouble letting go of the channel it’s on. Especially if that channel has a signal going to it. It’s nice when it works but when it doesn’t I could seriously change out the cables in less time…if I were to buy again I’d spend a little more….but who knows if that would solve anything.

This is exactly what I needed. I have a ps5 and a xbox connected to a gaming monitor, but I wanted to be display on the tv as well. This HDMI was able to do what I want it. Now I can switch the xbox or ps5 to either the monitor or the tv or both at the same time or one on the tv and the other on the monitor or vice-versa. I takes a little to memorize which setting to use, it has 4 options for each output, but after figure out. The HDMI matrix adjust by itself to the resolution and picture quality there no need to configure by yourself like other ones out there. Also, it has a remote so you can change it from far if your want to have a clean setup and is harder to reach.

This product is not 100% compatible with some of the apps for the Roku Ultra, nor was I able to switch between the Roku and my Samsung DVD player. I have the box set up for HDMI ARC. Some of the apps worked without any issues, but for, specifically, the Paramount app the video would go black and then after a few seconds I would get broken audio and no video. Changing from one input to another and then back will fix the issue, but this would need to be done any time you started a new program or movie. I could not get the box to work with our Samsung DVD player. I had to take the switch out of the mix for HDMI ARC to work with my DVD player. It seems to work fine as a HDMI switch without HDMI ARC and connected directly to my TV. However, you can not connect the switch output directly to the sound bar and just use it as a direct connection to the HDMI ARC input to the sound bar and get the Audio and Video to work. I am very disappointed in the product.

Works as intended, been using it for a while now with no issues. 4 divides that can display on A and B displays or 1 divide in both displays.I’m not sure if I lucked out but I received 2 units in one package so I have a backup if I need it.

Having had a previous 4x2 splitter i was after one that would allow Virgin uHD to work on both outputs. This does it for all inputs to all outputsvery happy

So the switch does redirect inputs from multiple devices to different monitors. I have a laptop, desktop PC and PS5, which I route through the switch to two monitors. The switch enables me to reroute each device to a monitor of my choice. However, there are issues with the switch.The first issue is that both the buttons on the switch and the remote that comes with it are very unresponsive. Sometimes I click to switch the inputs / outputs and it works first time, but more often than not it can take anywhere from 2 to 5 clicks to get it to respond.The second issue is there are some combinations of input output that cause a persistent flicker on one of the monitors. When I have the desktop PC playing through Monitor 1, and the laptop through Monitor 2, the second monitor flashes on and off ever few seconds.I will be continuing to use it, but the above issues are quite irritating, hence the 3 star rating I gave it.

I have been using their 4x1 switch for a while and it has been great. I purchased this 4x2 product so that I could watch the same content on two different devices or different content on two devices. Unfortunately, when getting the same content on two devices, the sound was not sent to either device. There didn't appear a straight forward way of getting the sound going although it did eventually work. The problem kept occurring each time the unit was turned on, so I returned the unit. Version "D", created in July 2024 was available on the US site, so I am going to give it a try. After exchange and shipping the new version is even $40 less than the original iteration from the Canadian site.

I had only one Arc port in my Sony HT A9 speaker system and wanted to connect my tv and projector to it. This product is one of the few products that is able to provide one arc bridge as well an extr la our port to help me connect both the tv as projector.Though I have had to use a workaround to get this done but this product is a perfectly priced solution. Also the one day delivery was the cherry on the cake!Do remember that the matrix takes about 30: seconds to recognise a signal so some patience is required when switching between devices.

I finally set this up to mirror what's playing on 2 TVs in 2 different rooms. It works great. The only problem I had was with our Polk Magnifi 2 sound bar. The instructions said to use HDMI Input 4 for the sound bar and Output B for the HDTV ARC. I tried that, it didn't work. I tried to play around with the configurations. In the end I couldn't really to get it to work with the device, but I was able to get sound from the TV to the sound bar with the Optical cable, so it's not so bad.
