We're using this stool in our bar, and it works great. It's strong and holds a lot of weight, it's a good size, and it folds flat to get out of the way. It's nice finished wood but could be painted if you wanted to. It did need to be assembled, but it was fairly easy to do with good instructions. Great stool.

This stool is fantastic! The holes are aligned well for putting together, which seems to be hard to find on Amazon purchases. Smooth design, and the paint/finish is done well. It folds easy, moves around well, and my toddler loves it! Love that you can adjust the height too.

This stool was a cool idea, easy to put together, compact. But it broke after just a few uses by a 70lb child, there was no roughhousing with it, no jumping, no hitting, no impact at all, part of the wood splintered and shattered where the joint is and my child fell, i really recommend the company insert some sort of solid rod through the wood so the very thin connecting part doesn't break like this again.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves to help cook and this step stool worked perfectly. Adult help is required to fold and unfold! Our 20 month old loved this stepstool also but not safe for her age. I would recommend this for 3 years and older. Very sturdy!

Assembly was a little challenging, but not totally frustrating. Think I only swore twice when trying to hook-up the second side while keeping things lined up and the non-secured piece in place. No missing pieces, but also no extra screws or other fasteners.Stool is a little stiff to open and close, but that may loosen up some as it's used. Fits nicely between bathroom vanity and toilet when not in use. Just the right height for a child who can't reach the sink, but is too big for Grandma to hold up while washing hands. Wish its posted weight limit was just a little higher so I was more comfortable sitting on it while bathing the little one.

I picked the stool up for my grandson who is starting to like to climb on things and will soon be wanting to help with things as well. It should be a great stool for that since it is very sturdy and the corners and edges are rounded so he can’t get hurt on anything. It folds up fairly compactly and is easy to open up.The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the assembly is not quite as easy as they make it sound. I had an issue with a couple of the screw holes, not lining up well and it took two people to hold the stool in position to be able to get the screw in. I also found that the instructions were not completely clear on how you install the top step/bench since there are two positions. It would be helpful if there was a little bit of written instruction rather than just a picture.
