I love these steps it makes it so much easier for me to navigate around my house to reach things that normally would be out of reach, and I can do it safely and that's so important!These stairs are advertised to hold up to 400 lb that's a considerable amount of weight I would hope that I'm not lifting something above my head that weighs that much weight on top of what I would weigh but let's say for instance I I had something very heavy I would feel safe lifting it that's how sturdy these steps are.I hope that just made sense.They are nice and compact so I can leave the stairs out and I won't trip over them but they also have the extended steps so it's solid it's not moving it's not something I have to fold up and hide away somewhere they are just there they have two handles on each side for me to pick it up and carry it to where I need it to be which is very helpful.You see I'm disabled and stairs aren't something that I'm supposed to be doing but I'm able to use these so I'm very happy with that thank you for taking a moment to read my review and I hope this review is helpful for you.

This step stool is very solid, wide, and stable. It's made of lovely bamboo and has perfectly placed handholds for moving it around. We bought 2 of them for us to step up into, and out of our platform, adjustable bed....one on each side in addition to this one that we are using for our grandkids in front of their bathroom sink. They also use it to climb up and sit on the toilet. I do not worry about it tipping over, whether it's my 200# husband or my little's when they come to visit. I highly recommend this product. It does the job safely, and is pretty too.
