This is a review of the Sewing Rulers 6pcs,Quilting Rulers Fabric Cutting Ruler with Non-Slip Rings for Quilting and Sewing,(3x17inch,1.5x17inch,3x12inch,1.5x10inch,3x6inch,1x6inch).My wife is a quilter and is always looking for variations on rulers.Pros:The variety of sizes is value for the money.Included rubber feet are great for keeping fabric from slipping as you cut.The rulers are thick and not easy to break.Cons:No issues after 3 weeks of continuous use.

Since we recently purchased a new Singer machine geared toward quilting, I've been seeking out the necessary tools I'll need to begin my first project...so excited! When I saw this well-priced 6 pc. set of Quilting, Sewing & Fabric Cutting Rulers with Non-Slip Rings by Imgetto, I pounced! (Similar items are very expensive in our local craft stores.)While I am a beginner at quilting, I feel this is a pretty comprehensive set of rulers for getting those measurements exact. They seem well-made from good quality acrylic, and their markings are accurate and easy to see (once the protective film is removed.) I've done some sewing in the past, and know how easily rulers can slip while cutting fabric, so I really appreciate the non-slip silicone rings that adhere to each ruler & prevent this problem. Definitely recommend!

INSANE value for the amount of rulers you get. 9.99 for a whole set, and the acrylic isn’t paper thin! Much thicker than I expected and it doesn’t wobble around. Great size variety.Make sure to peel off the protective layer so your ruler isn’t foggy. It comes with just enough grip stickers for you to have two on each ruler.My biggest worry is that the markings won’t stay long. Some of the markings were already coming off when I first took the protective layer off, so I’m assuming they were scratched or something during production.I don’t think the markings will stay for long but I think for the price and value you get for the quality of the acrylic, it’s still worth the price.

I was really excited to get these rulers. This specific combination of sizes is not something you see sets of nearly anywhere else. Thinner rulers are great for the small projects I make like wallets and pouches.The rulers come with a cling film on one side so you have to peel them off.There are non slip feet that you can put on the rulers but they are large in diameter which wouldn't be an issue if they were transparent but they are almost opaque and distract from being able to read the measurements properly. I only put them on 2 rulers. I put the large part on the bigger ruler and the small leftover dots on the smaller ruler.The numbers were already fading and scratched on some of the rulers when I received them and I doubt they will last very long so I won't be able to actually measure with them for long, which may not matter anyway....The measurements are off on all rulers. Although the DISTANCE between measurements is correct on an individual ruler, the measurement from the short edges of the ruler are wrong. Some are just short of 1/8" and some are just over. Furthermore when you lay them all next to each other not one of the long edges matches up with any other one of the rulers. I compared to my small 6" Fiskars ruler and another 6 x 24" quilting ruler. The 6" measurements matched if you moved the whole ruler up just a bit but if you keep the straight and square next to each other with the ends completely flush they are off.The edges are also sharp on a lot of them. I may sand them down but only a tiny bit for fear of ruining the straight edge. This definitely should've been taken care of at the factory.They flex more than most rulers. When you put the feet on them (They only give you enough for 2 per ruler unless you use the leftover middle dots) they bend in the middle when holding them down because most of the rulers are so long. This tells me that they could snap easier and you could probably cut right into it with your rotary cutter.I am definitely disappointed but they are straight and I can use the rotary cutter to cut a straight line at the very least.There was clearly no attention paid to quality, detail or accuracy on these rulers. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the price and the fact that they are straight. They are just over $1.30 a piece so you can't really expect a lot for that kind of cost.

I both quilt and make bags, and precise measurements are crucial for both. :) I've begun to amass rulers to make this process easier and find the smaller ones invaluable for bag making. The longer ones are perfect for cutting longer strips of fabric. These rules are thick and clear, easily legible over fabric. There is a removable film on them, so be sure to take that off before using so you can see the markings better. I like that this has a clear mark for 1/4" on the edge, too. I only wish they were slightly longer.

I had some pretty high hopes in these rulers in that they are are a bit different sized than most that you see. They do have some issues, though.First of all, the shorter rulers are not evenly graduated. In other words, the lines are close to correct on one end of the ruler, then the lines get closer together at the other end. You could probably adapt if the marks were even, but these are not...The edges of the rulers are also very sharp. It's like they finished one edge, but the other is almost knife sharp. Not sure if it would damage fabric, but it will definitely cut you if you are not careful. I will try to sand them down and ease that edge, but it is unacceptable from the factory. "Laser cut edges". Maybe, but they should have been finished.The non slip pads are also thicker than I have seen on most rulers. These are about 1.5-2mm thick, so it puts the ruler up a bit high. It might even cause some issues with a smaller blade rotary cutter.The price is okay for the number of rulers that you get, but don't expect top quality from them.
