I would like to have a pre-designed pattern block to use for pattern making. But INSTRUCTIONS would be so helpful! I received the 3 piece "block" design - but no instructions on how to use the various markings on the milar. These pieces seem sturdy enough, but I'm not sure I will keep them. I have been searching the internet, but there are no instructions I can find there either.

The templates are made of soft flexible plastic, they are not rigid, but they are quite substantial. The markings are clear. There were no instructions provided at all

I got these rulers primarily so that when I alter my patterns, I can duplicate the curves of the shoulder/armscye/etc. I have a french curve and often it can be a little fiddly to get the same nice smooth finish as the original pattern. This set works very well for that specific purpose, it has all the curves I needed to alter top patterns.However, from the print on the rulers, I get the impression that you are supposed to be able to use them to actually make your own pattern. I would love to do this, but there aren't any instructions provided. Also, it seems that they're only intended to make patterns for a specific dress size. If that's the case, I'd like to be able to order other sizes of rulers!

Overall nice product. But would be great if the plastic was sturdier.
