Used this to make tamales with my tia, and even she agreed they came out tasting just like abuela’s(grandma)! This pot made all the difference. It's super sturdy, heats evenly, and holds a big batch at once, which is great when you're making enough tamales to feed a whole family. The side spout lets you refill water mid-steam without moving a thing. The divider rack helped keep our red, green, and sweet tamales separated and perfectly upright while they cooked. You can tell the pot was made with real use in mind. Honestly, for the quality and design, it’s worth every penny.

This steamer pot is amazing! It’s big enough to make a large batch of tamales, and the quality feels solid and well-made. I love that it has the exterior water refill spout—it makes it so much easier to add water without lifting everything. The removable rack and divider are super helpful for keeping things organized and evenly cooked. I used it for tamales, but I can see myself using it for other steamed dishes too. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice, well built tamale steam pot. It is a great size and is easy to use and clean. One can make a lot of tamales in this pot as it has a large cooking capacity. It is functional and pretty and I overall highly recommend this product.

This Concord stainless steel steamer pot was ordered on 26 Mar 2025 and delivered on 28 Mar 2025 with no damage.This is a well made, easy to use and clean steamer pot. It works well for all your steamer needs whether it be seafood, vegetables, tamales or other steamable food. The 3 way divider is nice and sometimes help you stack the food properly. I particularly like how you can control the steam water level through out the cooking process. I recommend this pot to you.

Tamale pot 3/28/25So, when I see tamale steamers up for sale, I'm usually not too impressed. They are usually pretty lightweight. Graniteware or stainless, it doesn't matter, they are usually pretty light. And they are usually of lower quality. Making tamales is a chore. Soaking the husks, mixing the masa (thank goodness for stand mixers!), making the filling. Laying out the wrappers when they are finally soft enough, spreading the masa (not too thick! Not too thin! Needs to go from edge to edge--no! Not that far!). Then the steaming. Too much water! You don't wanna BOIL them! Not enough water! You don't want to burn them! Did you put the pennies in? And if you have to add more water, it's kind of a pain. So, when I saw this, with a decent sized chamber for water, with its lip to hold the steamer plate, and OH MY GOODNES! YOU CAN ADD WATER FROM OUTSIDE THE POT!!! SO i got it. And I am completely impressed. It is heavy-duty (10 lbs). It is beautiful. I love it. And It has a seperator (thirds) so I can make three kinds of tamales if I want. It comes with stainless steel 'coins' so you'll know if you need to add water. Five stars.

I normally cook my tamales in an Insta pot and it works really well. The only problem is that you cannot cook very many at a time. So I normally have to do like two or three batches. I’ve always wanted a giant tamale pot like my mom had. So excited to receive this and it comes with some really great features such as the waterspout at the bottom and The divider. The strainer that it comes with that sits at the bottom had some small dents in it probably from the transit and so I took one star off, but overall this is a great quality pot and I can’t wait to use it.
