Love using this boil/steamer basket for my hard-boiled eggs. My secret to the best ones are putting 8-10 in this basket and dropping the basket into a pot of boiling water. Boil them for 6 1/2 minutes, slowly pull them out then let them sit on the counter until cool. They will continue to cook a little. The yolk is perfectly soft and not overcooked plus the shells peel easily! Recommend this for all of your steaming/boiling needs.

It’s great! Cooks my food very well. This is definitely a better alternative to aluminum foil and paper liners because it’s stainless steel, and it saves you money by lasting long.

It is larger than 8.07 inch (20.49 cm). It is actually 23 cm in largest diameter (top rim).Stainless steel is good, no sharp edges. Good handles. Light weight. 4 stars for product itself. It could not enter my instant pot 6qt, so returned.
