I picked this up to replace my original sous vide many years ago. It has served me well but it's starting to get a little flaky. This is an incredible step up. The two things I like most about it are the easy to use, accurate controls and the time to heat. It heats up much quicker than my old one so it's ready to go much faster. The two minor annoyances are the overall size - it's a big sous vide. Second, the clamp feel a little questionable to me. My old one was spring loaded and a little difficult to get just right sometimes. This one is a screw style that should offer more flexibility but I have concerns it might be the weak point of the whole setup.Overall, I love the stainless construction and the precision of the controls, but I'm a bit wary of the attachment.

I need to play around with this more, but so far so good. It is very easy to set up and use. It maintains good heat and the end results are terrific. My wifi is sometimes wonky, but we were able to get it to connect. I don't use it a ton, mainly because I don't make meals that would benefit from it, but it is amazing and a great value for what you get, especially if you are someone who enjoys gourmet cooking. 5/5 would recommend.

This is a commercial grade circulator. I wouldn't recommend it for small households of one or two people. It would work fine, but it's overkill. My wife likes to cater events for friends, especially those who don't make much money. This thing handless big jobs perfectly. Like cooking 20 chicken breasts. It's made to handle larger volumes of water. Larger volumes = more food in one go. It's got a robust design and is simple to use. I like the square look of it personally. It holds the temp very consistently. I saw some others say it was noisy, but I didn't think it was louder than my Ink Bird. Pricey, but it's seriously awesome. I couldn't be happier with this.

This review is for Sous Vide Immersion Circulator, 1600W Professional Commercial Sous Vide Cooker Machine, with Stable Temperature Control, Large Digital Touch Screen, IPX7 Waterproof (Silvery, 1600W)I've been looking at these for a year now and jumped at the chance to pick one up. This is my first foray into sous vide cooking, so this review focuses on first impressions rather than comparison.Design: The Panalchef Sous Vide is built with a SUS304 stainless steel body, making it sturdy, resistant to high temperatures, and safe to use. The ergonomic design allows for easy one-handed operation, and the removable stainless steel sleeve makes cleaning effortless, ensuring long-term durability. The adjustable clip design means it can attach securely to any pot.Temperature: This sous vide circulator provides rapid heating and high-precision temperature control. The built-in timer allows for extended, low-temperature cooking that preserves moisture, tenderness, and flavor better than traditional cooking methods.Noise: This is the one feature that really surprised me. The Panalchef circulator operates ultra-quietly. I was expecting more noise from a machine like this.Safety: It features an overheating protection system and a low-water level alarm, automatically stopping operation to prevent damage or hazards. The IPX7 waterproof certification ensures that internal components are protected from water exposure.Interface: The large digital touch screen provides a clear display and responsive controls, making it easy to adjust temperature and time settings. Additionally, the unit will alarm when the target temperature is reached, so you can cook with confidence without constantly monitoring the process.I don't see a down side to this product. I would recommend this product to any home cook looking for fast heating, quiet operation, and advanced safety features to elevate their cooking.

I'm a very experienced home cook, but new to sous vide. I've known about it for a long time, but just haven't taken the plunge to add it to my kitchen. The availability of this unit seemed like a great opportunity to do so. As with most products, there are both pluses and minuses. Here are my thoughts on this product.First, it's large. In fact, it seems to be about 50% larger than other sous vide heaters I've seen friends use. Given the higher output power, the larger size is probably warranted, but it will necessitate a larger cooking container as a result. Its shape (square profile) is quite a departure from the typical round profile. This means that cooking containers with lids that are purpose-designed for sous vide cookers will probably not fit this heater without some 'arts and crafts' modifications. Not a show-stopper, but something to consider when evaluating which cooker you may want to purchase. The heater provides a good amount of power, heating the water bath quickly and doing so pretty quietly. Once at temperature, the thermostat maintains the temperature very tightly, as it should. The temperature displayed was always within 1.5°F of my Thermapen, so the temperature appears to also be held accurately.Once the cook time has completed, the unit provides a fairly quiet periodic beep to remind you that it's ready. I like that it's a fairly unobtrusive reminder, but a more noticeable alarm at the end of the programmed cook time would be nice. The build quality seems very high, with a modern-looking design. The controls work as they should, and the stainless steel construction should hopefully last longer and be more durable than the more typical plastic units. Now, with all of that out of the way, is it worth the cost? I'm not sure. When you can pick up one of the more popular consumer-level cookers for about half the cost and have it work with aftermarket cooking containers out of the box, it becomes hard to justify a roughly 2x cost.Overall, I'm happy with its performance, but not sure the value is there for most home cooks.
