I got this filament through the Amazon Vine program but that is not going to influence my review. That being said, I used this for a roast and it worked wonders. The signal strength was excellent and never lost connectivity, however it was inside the house so I will have to wait and see how it is while outside in the grill. The holding/charging case looks great and it is easy to charge and store. The app was very intuitive and had no issues navigating it. Next big test for this will be my thanksgiving turkey.

Works great. I like that it's smart but wish it had a display on the thermometer itself.

This a really handy wireless remote meat thermometer. You have to down load the app and the stylish wooden holder is the charger. I have gone through several of the wired thermometers that connect by wire to a monitor but what's great about this thermometer is I don't have to stand outside in the freezing cold keeping an eye on the food temp in my gas BBQ. Genius!!

For the testing of this meat probe thermometer, we really chose a 3lb (boneless) prime rib roast to be cooked on an outdoor grill.Probe was inserted horizontal and at an angle to reach the center of the roast.Followed the included directions with the probe while the grill heated to 290°F.Method used was- roast at room temperature before it went on the grill.Initial internal desired temperature was 110°F but.... the digital setting choice was 109.4°F. Okay, close enough but a little annoying I could not choose 110°FOnce that target temp was hit, an alarm sounded on phone.Middle burner (under the meat) turned off on grill, other burners turned UP to develop crust on meat and target internal temperature was raised to 125°F in the app. EASY to change the temp during the cooking process!!!Once that target was achieved, another alarm alerted and the meat was brought into the kitchen to rest and carry over cook to 132°F.This digital meat probe was easy to use, app showed the temperature info needed of the grill and the meat.Total time on the grill was 46 minutes and the meat was exactly as desired!Thrilled with the ease and versatility of this meat thermometer, especially on the pricey cut of beef we chose to test with.$59.99 seems high but considering this was foolproof and assisted in cooking a roast to perfection on an outdoor grill, it is absolutely worth its cost!

The temperature probe for my countertop Oven - air fryer disappeared soon after I started using it. I suspect it fell in the trash can below.I got this to replace it.The wireless Bluetooth meat thermometer is an eye opener in my kitchen and BBQ. I can monitor my roast from anywhere thanks to the smart app, and the instant-read accuracy is impressive. The probe handles oven heat easily and delivers consistent results no matter what I am cooking. Setup was effortless, and the app alerts me perfectly every time. It’s become my versatile utensil for worry-free, precision cooking.

Garbage. It reports my ambient temperature ("oven temperature") as 91.3° F. While it's warm today, the temperature inside is in the 70s. Holding the sensor in my hand, I expected the temperature report to rise, but it stayed steady at 91.3°. As for the probe sensor, it reports nothing. The app shows a kind of circular slider which may indicate the temperature, but I wasn't sure. However, this slider doesn't change regardless of the probe's temperature. There is a little tick in the UI that reflects where you've set it. Under 100°, the tick shows below the end of the slider; above 100°, it shows above the end of the slider. But the value on the slider doesn't change. I tried to verify the probe reading, such as it is, by inserting the probe into 180° water. No change. The alarm didn't alert. I held it there for several minutes, careful to submerge past the "safe" line, but not to the probe's handle. The UI never changed, and the alarm, which I had set to 170° didn't go off.On the chance I just got a dud, I'll review the app as well. It's intuitive to set the target temperature. It's hard to read what it's trying to report. It starts out showing "oven temperature," with a number. I had to set my phone's UI to its smallest settings to be able to read the number, otherwise it just shows an ellipsis. However, the app made a good first impression. It connects easily to the probe, and there are slots in the UI for four of them. I like the ring tone options for the alarm. If the probe worked, the app would be adequate.
