If you're ever out at night in a place where you could be hit by a motor vehicle, you need to consider the issue of visibilty. It's not enough to wear bright clothing. When it's dark, you must assume, and it's often true, that drivers can't see you. That's where a vest like this truly shines. (I worked hard for that pun.)The vest itself features two battery-powered lights with different settings as well as reflective strips. The flashing setting probably will make this vest the most noticeable. The arm band is a nice add-on. I have a few other similar visibility vests and none of the other ones came with a lighted arm band. I like the arm band. There are three batteries to charge, but the included USB charging cable splits into just two connectors, so the three batteries cannot be charged simultaneously... with the included USB cable. I'm sure you might have an existing USB cable that could work just fine if you need to charge all three batteries at the same time. Charging status is shown through red and green lights. When any battery is fully charged, the status light will change from red to green. This is an essential item for anyone who walks, runs, or cycles in the dark near traffic. Of course, something like this could also be used in a commercial setting - warehouse, hangar, construction site, or similar - for added visibility no matter the light level.

Vine Program Review – Please See NoteThis is a review of the Pomerol LED Reflective Vest & Wristbands. A single vest comes with a single wristband and a USB charger for two items simultaneously.Working or running in traffic, especially in the dark always comes with trade-offs. If you are visible and bright, drivers may not hit you, however drunk drivers will be attracted to you like a moth to a flame; thus the main safety precaution for anyone in traffic should be situational awareness.Diatribe aside, this vest is lightweight, very reflective, and has illumination on the front and the back. The straps are of good quality and the LED lights function well. The webbing guides are light but sturdy enough, however the belt joints appear to be fragile to an extent. Based on this, I would avoid trying to mount anything on the belt. The wristband is nice, however, there is only one of them. The charger has two charging ends, which is good for the vest. However, you will have to charge the wristband separately. For the price, this is a little above average as similar products from other sellers come with two wristbands for less. The vest is visible from across a football field, and is enhanced when on the intermittent “blinking” mode.In all, I would recommend this running vest to those running on roadways at night, or those finding themselves in the roadway at night for work or events. That said, I would compare products for value.Stars? – I rate products in the following way: 1 Star – Product does not even partially function in the manner described. 2 Stars – Product can function in a limited capacity as noted by the manufacturer. 3 Stars – Product delivers on advertised functions. 4 Stars – Product delivers on advertised functions and is otherwise well made with some issues of a universal nature. 5 Stars – Product delivers on advertised functions, is well made, price point is excellent, no issues other than personal preference.Note: This product was supplied to me at no cost via the Vine program at Amazon in exchange for an honest and thorough review. I request no products from the Vine program that I would otherwise be interested in purchasing.

I received this product to evaluate. The pictures in the ad gives one the impression that the entire vest lights up, even the picture appearing to point at the premium LED lights, across the shoulders and around the waist. In actuality, the only illuminated areas of the vest are six-inch sections on the front and back, as well as a section of the wrist/leg band. Each of these segments contain a small plastic block about 1.25 inches square containing the battery, light and USB-C port. The USB ports are open, possibly allowing water to enter if raining. There is a flexible six-inch clear piece of plastic that is inserted into a sleeve which conducts the light from the block. One advantage to this construction is that the lights can be removed to allow for harness cleaning. All the other glowing sections pictured on the belt and shoulder straps are reflective material, not LED lighting. The vest comes in a plastic zippered bag along with the wristband and a nine-inch USB-A to dual USB-C cable. The ON/OFF buttons are clearly marked. When charging, the cables need to be pushed in until they "click" into the port, and a red light will be faintly visible through the strap. The light will turn green when fully charged. There are slides on the straps, allowing the vest to fit a large range of sizes. I'm 6'2', 240 lbs and the vest fit comfortably, with room to grow, but will adjust down to a much smaller person or child.I actually plan on wearing mine when riding my scooter day or night. The areas that are lit are enough to catch someone's attention, and the reflective stripes are quite bright when struck by headlights or street lights.

Not sure what is meant by "colorful", mine does green and yellow... I guess technically, it's more than one color?Anyway it's exactly what i wanted/needed for safe night riding. I got an led helmet, led brake light, and headlight, along with reflectors on clothing and bike. Add these impossible to miss, lightup, highly reflective belts around my torso and another on my traffic side arm and... Well, I'll probably still get hit, but at least this way the trial against the driver will be easier, cuz any reasonable juror would quickly decide- NO WAY you didn't see them!
