Using the Shoe clip
Clip horizontally. Pull the clip light apart slightly and slide it back over the heel-part of the shoe, make sure that the clip is correctly attached around and on the heel. Make sure the arc-shaped ear upwards.

The clip lights are very sturdy. If worn correctly, they stay on and keep you visible. We walk before light. Even if my coat is dark, I am visible. Only issue--and this is actually funny---is that they are so bright and flickering that my husband doesn't like walking behind me now!!!

I meet a friend to walk every morning when it's dark and no one is going to miss seeing me with these on. I also use them when I'm on my bicycle in the evening to be more visible. They slip on very comfortably and securely onto the back of my sneakers. I've used them so much that I had to replace the batteries on one clip. A small screw driver is helpfully include in the package with clear directions. I just use two of those flat round disc batteries that you can get anywhere (I bought a package at Costco). Highly recommend these and the price is a steal. Everyone ought to have a pair!

I bought these for walking and running when its dark (usually early evening in winter). The first time I wore them they stayed on no problem. The next 2 times they fell off several times. Luckily I didn't have to backtrack too far to find them, but I was annoyed at this inconvenience. So I went back to the instructions, read a few more reviews, and made sure I pushed them on all the way, and made the bar horizontal, not angled upward. The next run went flawlessly. They stayed on completely. I've done several walks and runs since then and they've always stayed on. I still look at my feet on occasion to check, but they've worked well.I opened one up to check the battery size and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to get the pieces lined up and back together. That may be user error, or a slight design challenge.

I run early in the morning and it remains dark throughout my run. I feel much more secure having these lights on my shoes at this time of day (430am -5:45am). I purchased these for myself and also another pair for my friend. After several months, I lost one of the pair and reached out and requested a replacement. I was very pleased with the response I received. I was impressed with the customer service. A new set was sent to me. I will never run without these. They fit perfect on both my Konas and my Nikes. Great price too!

Bought these for night and glow runs!!Pros- They came with batteries or whatever already inside. All we had to do was open and go. There’s a button to turn them on and change the setting from strobing color to more of a white light. The lights were bright. They clipped nicely onto my shoes by pulling those two black things apart. Felt tight and secure! They were very fun!Cons- Only one, but important enough to me that I chose to bring what would have otherwise been a 5 star rating down to 3. Our first time using them, one fell off my husband’s shoe. I still had both mine but I am more of a turtle runner where he placed in the top 10. I know they just grab onto your shoe, but I don’t think it should have come off so easily. It wasn’t a rough terrain run or anything. It was all city like streets.Over all....I loved them! I was just very disappointed by the fact that one fell off my husband’s show on our first run with them. Would I buy them again, yes when needed.

They fit nicely on the back of your sneaker to make sure you can be seen in the dark. They are light weight and simple to use. They are on the back of your shoe, so they don't help with illuminating what's in front of you. However I get lots of positive comments on how nice they are on the back of the shoe to make sure cars and others can see you while you are running.

I do not want to give any stars but had to give 1starr to leave the review. Item is poor quality and packaging information misrepresents. I currently own a Nathan brand heel clip light which I have been 100% satisfied with. I bought the "light up your world" 2-pack because I wanted a light for my other shoe, and the item looked similar to the Nathan brand. NOTE this item is smaller than Nathan so it doesn't reach as far around the shoe heel. Says it's for size 6-8.5 but DOES NOT STAY ON. lost one clip the first day on a walk. Product also claims to have two settings, steady and flashing. The "steady" is more of a strobe light that goes back and forth between a series of colors then flashing...NOT steady. Also, the grip teeth on this product are much smaller than those on the Nathan clip. I'm sticking with Nathan brand. This item was an all around disappointment.

Find a different supplier if you can. THESE ARE NOT RETURNABLE.- The ones I received do not rotate colours as described - one is green, one is blue, that's it.- The blue light is much more faded than the green - it won't be seen well by traffic which is the point.- It doesn't appear easy to replace the batteries - I haven't tried as I just bought them but many screws.- For the $30.00 price tag, it's nice if the description matches the product - zero customer service or recourse other than this review.
