Great sound, clear highs and mid bass! High quality drivers and well designed housing/mounting system. Remember with its required mounting width (16.4") and having 16" on center studs you will have to cut one stud to mount this! In wood studs no problem. Well made great Quality Sound.

In wood studs no problem, we have steel studs but still fairly easy to cut stud out of the way using tin snips.

LOVING having this in my setup. Incredible for the WAF. Have yet to paint the grills, but looking forward to giving that a shot and having them blend into the wall completely. They sound wonderful. This center channel does really well for voices in movies. A bit tough to get the clips to seat well in 5/8 drywall, but really sturdy after they're set. These speakers punch way above their weight class. Paired with the 6" debut 2.0 in-walls in my setup.

Might sound great but stupid engineering. Every house in America has wood studs 16" on center and they make a center channel that is 16-1/2" long. There was plenty of space in the speaker to reduce its size to 15-1/2" without affecting preformance. The studs that I would have to cut are holding up the huge TV. Going to use a regular Elac driver in the center and see how that goes. Mounting flaps don't work properly.

Fantastic speakers! I am using three of these as my LCR for my 5.1 system. The sound and build quality are top notch, thank you Elac.
