These torches are nice. I was impressed by the quality when we opened the box. They are solid and seem durable. I have never filled anything with butane before, but the instructions were pretty clear. We had a flame within a minute or two.Here's what I didn't like and why they only got 4 stars:- There is no safety. I've got young kids who love to play with everything they shouldn't, so this could be dangerous.- There is no indicator of how much butane is in the torch. This means that I don't know if I've filled it up or only got a tiny bit in. Is probably not a big deal if you have the butane with you, but if you take this on a trip or camping or something, it could be a pain

Nothing too flashy or fancy about these torches, but they do exactly what I need them to do. I’ve used both a bunch of times now and as long as they’ve got butane in them, they’ve worked every time without fail.I will say, I still hate refilling these kinds of torches. It always feels like I’m wasting more butane than I’m actually getting into the thing. Maybe I’m doing it wrong but I’ve had the same issue with other brands too, so who knows.One nice touch is that the two torches aren’t identical. One is all black and the other has a silver nozzle so it’s easy to tell them apart. Small detail but kinda useful.All in all, a solid set. Nothing amazing, but reliable and gets the job done.

One out of the two in this two pack worked. I filled them both up from the same brand new butane bottle. One lit right up, maybe a satisfying click and sparked and had a nice bright blue flame the other one did not click or spark or anything didn't even sound like there was gas coming out of it. So I guess it's a good thing there was a two pack because one works one doesn't

I did not like the texture feel of the torch. It just feels weird in my hand with the cross lined texture. I also thought that it would have had a safety lock. Without one it doesn't make sense to me at least for being advertised as a soldering torch.
