The end of my 1980s pump meant I had to replace it. Using the old float switch I found this pump (Which looks identical to one brand that starts with "R") I found no problem installing. The bottom, plastic intake makes it easy to press in two plastic clips, remove the intake and screw down, then clip the pump body back on. The provided hose is high quality. Most surprising was the two provided hose clamps which I found to be well made and strong! No stripping out here! The thru-hull fitting looks fine, but not needed by me. On activation I was pleased to see a strong, solid water stream with authority to it! The documentation states ability to pump up to a 4 meter height and I don't doubt it. This thing gets it done! Recommended item.
