I bought these beginning of August of 2023, it’s now end of march 2025 and I’m just now buying new ones cause they just burnt out. And they we’re working totally fine till i moved my tanks and dropped my fixtures and now they aren’t turning back on. So that’s probably my fault. Totally would’ve lasted even longer, I have 2 tanks and used both bulbs, for my crested geckos, along with their uvbs. These are great. I haven’t had luck with halogen bulbs. I’ve used other rlly expensive brands like 30-45$ a bulb for my beardies or blue tongue skink and they’ve lasted a few weeks and burnt out. These are beyond amazing. Will update if they don’t last the second time cause I’ve seen a lot of reviews say they don’t last which clearly wasn’t my experience cause they lasted 1.5 years.

I got a 2 pack of light bulbs for a lizard habitat and one of the boxes was mildly damaged but the lightbulb appeared to still be in decent enough condition that was until I screwed it into my lamp and it proceeds to flicker and burnout at times now if you see in the photo the back end of the bulb where it makes contact with the receptor is all flat and con-caved and not making good contact with the receptor I am annoyed as I was hoping to have both of these 5 year bulbs last me for the next 10 years but as it seems we cannot have nice things

These have worked better for me than the incandescent Zoo Med nano bulbs. My giant day gecko enjoys basking under this halogen bulb!

These bulbs are nice in theory, but they really are short lived, maybe I got duds, but I bought a 2 pack and both are defective.

These bulbs burned out way to quick. The first one lasted 4 days and the second was only 2 days. They were not left on continually. Maybe a max of 3 hours at a time. Do not was your money on these.

Constantly having to buy new bulbs they don’t last. Very disappointed.

Works good. Snake seems to like them. Use them for my 5 gallon tank.
