Recently bought a Luxman Cassette Player/Recorder. Made like a tank in 1981 but still plays very well. Of course, I have saved all the cassettes I had made from lp’s and cd’s over the decades (yes, I’m old}. Being in storage I had forgot how many I had made! Been a ball going through past music faves and the memories they hold. However, I soon realized cassettes stacked in boxes are not easily accessible and so bought a couple if these cassette wall shelves. Not cheap but these are very nice racks. Each shelf holds 23 cassettes to total. 115 per shelf (not counting a dozen or so on the top). . Two of these hold less than half my collection but gives me plenty to browse and cycle through. The shelf comes in two pieces that easily screw and hang with little tabs that do minimal wall damage to hang them with. Even including a half size “real” hammer. When they come down a bit if spackle and paint and the wall is same as it ever was. Attractive enough units and plenty secure for cassettes. Here in California earthquakes can empty a shelf very quick but I think I’ll streatch some rubber band type material across the bottom inch of each shelf, thus keeping them in place yet still easy to pull one out. Very happy with this purchase and if I can find more wall I’ll put up more of these!

I love the overall look of the cabinet, it goes well with the storage unit I have for my vinyl, which is a similar warm, rustic feel. It was easy to assemble, arriving in two pieces, a top half and a bottom half, which you joint together with screws (the third photo shows what this looks like). It also comes with mounting hardware pre-installed on the top half, and a pair of wall hooks. The nail portion of the hooks seems a little shallow, so I'm unsure of how well they will hold compared to finding a stud to drill your own hooks into.I will say that in some places the staining work is a little scuffed looking, but this shouldn't be visible behind the cassette tapes. Mine also came with a long crack on the upper panel, near the point of attachment (it was there when I unpacked the pieces, so it was not due to my assembly). I hope it holds up. This lost a star for me, and looking at the price compared to these experiences with the build quality, I have to take it down another. It fits cassette tapes exactly how it was shown in the image, which is to say, perfectly, with a little bit of breathing space. I imagine this shelf would also be great and functional for other uses, such as a spice rack, collectible display, or some other objects on a similar scale.I do like the cabinet, but I think fifty dollars is a bit on the expensive side for something that has a worrisome crack in a structural joint and scuffed stainwork.

An awesome little shelving unit that can be used for cassettes or so many other things! It's easy to assemble and they've provided great tools! Each shelf is the perfect size for displaying 4x6 horizontal photos, small tiered display items, rocks, or collectibles. It looks great and can be hung or will sit on a table or other flat surface.
