I never knew how much I needed a Sundial/Compassion Combo until I got this from Amazon! This Antique Finish Brass Sundial Compass (AFBSC) IS EXCELLENT! The compass is forged from Solid Brass and has an excellent feel, look and weight to it! On the face of this AFBSC is the Sundial! It consists of the dial which consists of hour markings that surround the exterior of the AFBSC! Then there is a solid Brass Gnomon which is the pointed object that casts a shadow onto the dial to indicate the time of day that it is!To properly use the Sundial use the compass first to point the compass due North. Then close the lid and flip up the Gnomon. You'll see that the sun will cast a shadow at the approximate time on the Sundial! I tested it outside and it works great!Anyhow, this AFBSC is truly beautiful and is fully functional and made of excellent Brass materials!! I plan to leave this on my desk in my office because it's definitely a conversation piece amongst and my staff and clients! Even though I'm not much of a world traveler it definitely makes me look like one!! Also it's got serious Pirates of the Caribbean vibes as well which is a bonus!I'm super happy with this AFBSC and totally rate this 5 Star All Day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Also I wanted to mention that the packaging is Super Nice too! It's a Faux Leather Satchel that has a belt sleeve so you can actually start it on your belt! I thought that was another nice touch to mention! 🤗
