I got these for my wife. First, my observation is that this looks fine on first glance. It is a very casual shoe. The body of the shoe is sturdy enough. The straps that Velcro across the shoe is flimsy and too long to match the Velcro closure on the shoe. My wife like shoes with a wide toe box for comfort. This looked like a good shoe to try and I ordered it in her standard size, an 8 regular. The toe box is not in proportion to the rest of the shoe. It's not just wide but extremely wide. The length of the shoe is right but it grows wide just beyond the arch. There is some support so that's good but doesn't redeem the awkward fit. When the straps close the shoe there is an obvious difference in the open area beneath the strap from one shoe to the other. One is a much larger opening. It's as if one is a different cut than the other. It's impossible for her to wear out anywhere but she might use it for gardening and never for anything requiring a walk of any length. To be fair, this might be a perfect shoe for someone looking for something super casual and needing an extra wide toe box. If you filled the shoe with your foot, the strap may close where it should. Changing sizes would make the shoe too short.

These are nicely made, with quality canvas, rubber, and sole. But they need a cushioned shoe insert to be comfortable. The sizing is accurate if you account for additional padding; I ordered my normal 8.5 and it was perfect with a shoe insole. The pricing is also fair; I'd say these are like $35 shoes, but they need insoles, which cost about $10-12, so the $23 price is accurate. Also very comfortable when you add thin socks!

These flats are surprisingly comfortable and honestly better than I expected. The shoe is really deep, which I actually love because it feels super secure on my foot and gives great ankle support. I feel like I could even add insoles if I wanted to, but honestly, I probably won’t need to the cushioning feels just fine on its own. They slip on easily, and the Mary Jane style is simple but cute. I plan on wearing these to work on Fridays with our company polo shirt, and they’re perfect for that casual but neat look. Great buy if you’re on your feet and want something comfy but still put together
