This is exactly what I was hoping for. The roller it's replacing was way too stiff, like a concrete parking barrier. It was also too large and took up more space than necessary at 3 feet long. Laying on it with it parallel to your spine was the only thing that length could be beneficial for. The rigidity of a steel pipe also was a non-starter.This is firm, light, and has some light nubs for circulation stimulation. Also provides an easier to grip surface. And again, not scent whatsoever which is what I feared. Many of these things need a few days to off-gas before use; this did not.*** Details on site aren't completely accurate. The main title says 12" long by 4" in diameter. That's correct. The sub-description says it's 2x2x8 (LxWxH) which is an error. Lastly, the pictures depict a woman using a much larger roller.
