Awesome vertical leg press machine with incredibly fast shipping from Titan. I ordered it on the 21st of December, received it a mere three days later on Christmas Eve, and had it fully assembled and ready to use Christmas Night. The majority of the assembly time was devoted mostly to unpacking the parts and getting them rather than the actual assembly itself. No paper instructions were included (presumably to save a few extra $$ on the printing, I guess) so you have to visit the Titan website for those and even then I didn't find them to be very helpful. However, deducing how each of the components fit together was reasonably easy. Just start putting the frame together from the bottom up.The machine itself is awesome and extremely sturdy. Doesn't take up an inordinate amount of room, either ; all you need is just about 5-square feet of floor space. The height of the top post is adjustable, too, depending on which holes you set the latch-pins in. Even though it looks a little precarious since the weights are above you, it is designed very well with safety in mind. As my headlines states, the good thing about this machine is the weights don't have to be the same weight or quantity. They are all on one level, even platform that suspends them in place all equally. You can put 25lbs. on one post, 10lbs. on another, and 45lbs. on the third, or any other combination you can think of. This machine also virtually doubles as its own weight storage rack. And you don't even need clamps or collars for the weight plates since the posts are vertical --- there's no way a plate can fall UP.The leg presses and calf extensions on this machine are very effective. You can get a great pump, although I've noticed I feel the movement more in my hamstrings than quads, but that may just be only my own experience. The backrest and headrest provide adequate support and the handles really help with getting up and down into position as well as giving you something to grip onto for support and stability during sets. The only drawback I've noticed so far with the machine is that the inner cylinders inside the two main support posts (these and the latch-pins are the only moving parts on the machine) have a lot of friction upon being brand new and are hard to push. They will need to be thoroughly oiled (and re-oiled) regularly. The pathetic little bottle of oil that's included with purchase isn't going to cut it --- you will need coconut oil or some other lubricant that goes well with metal. With regular, repeated oiling of the cylinders, eventually it will start to smoothly glide.Been loving this machine so far and am very happy with how it turned out.

I bought this as a compromise to purchasing a leg sled which is horribly expensive and takes up a lot more space. This press is pretty good overall, while it doesn't have any bells and whistles it does the job well and safely. If you're a little short like me (5 foot 6 inches) you'll have to position yourself so that your head isn't quite on the headrest, but it still feels fine. All in all a pretty good purchase. EDIT I found that I was able to move the headrest down one hole as the bracket has edges that keep it on the frame regardless so my only problem was solved.

easy to build, seem like a good product, affordable. i have bad knees but working out on this machine they have gotten stronger. i wished they have a paper instruction but they only have online assembly video. the video is easy to follow but the screw number you need to take picture and enlarge to see their number. other than that is a good machine for the price.

I love this machine! Great workout and takes up small amount of space in your personal gym.The only thing I would mention, like others have said, the instruction diagrams in the book do not correctly label the bolts used at various steps but if you look at the diagram and then see the size of the bolt and nut needed, you will be fine.Mine was actually missing one of the bolts and I had to run to Lowe’s to pick it up, but outside of that, this is a great machine.

I would not trust this rack with 400lbs on it, its range of motion places your feet at an awkward angle. The foot plate should have a slight angle to it. It is completely flat and forces you to push the weight without the full force of your entire foot.

We've use the Leg Press regularly and are happy with the results, especially for my husband who needed to build his thighs after being unable to exercise for a period. As I recall putting it together wasn't terribly difficult. Its very sturdy. Its exactly what we wanted.
