This tripod is massive. It’s built like a tank. The quality is evident in the lower legs and arms. They all use bolts instead of rivets like the cheaper tripods.I wish they would have provided a standard tripod adapter bolt for the top pole so that I can connect my Starlink mini with its tripod adapter vs the pole mount assembly. This tripod almost feels like it was built for commercial use. Great quality.

My husband likes this because it’s sturdy, but he’s concerned about it standing up to heavy winds so he’s going to get a support thing to strengthen it. He also was frustrated that he has to install and uninstall the holding bracket every time he wants to use it. I suggested he put it n the carrying bag to see if it fit for the team and it did, so we left it on.

This tripod is perfect for the starling mini. Most I have seen are too light - to small. This one is just right - not to large, but beefy enough to trust your dish will be safe on a tripod. It is still a little top heavy when you extend it all the way up, but that is to be expected with how small the footprint is.The included bag is light duty, and probably won't last long - but it is appreciated that is came with something to bag it up. Perfect for taking on camping trips. It also includes the triangle mounting block to slide into the starling mini. Overall it's like a miniature version of a PA speaker tripod.

It seems I can't find a tripod mount that has reasonable features and this one is no different. Unless you need to put this on a perfectly flat surface that meets the required angle of the dish, you may be out of luck.While this tripod is made of quality materials, it's missing some basic features that would make it a home run. You can't adjust the angle the dish is pointing, no tilt or rotation at all. If you are using your dish in the "wilderness." on uneven terrain, the legs can't be adjusted either, they are all at the same level.

This tripod is a bit on the smaller side. Beefy, but not quality beefy. Easy to set up, comes with a handy bag for transport. A bit pricey for the offering.

This tripod is extremely heavy duty and very stable. A strong wind cannot take this down when on the lowest setting. I'd still recommend weighting your dish though. The only downside is that it's initially very difficult to fully extend open. It takes a lot of effort to open and close.The hardware is sturdy, i.e. knobs and screws, but easy to access. This is what I'd qualify as industrial grade hardware. I'd recommend this tripod.
