Keep looking don't buy this! After days of trying to get this set up to work, I rolled it all back up and put back in the box. Fencing works when it wants. I know it pulses but it will work for a few minutes, just long enough to make you think you got it. Check the fence again….not working. The fence tester didn't work either so went out and bought a different one. Put a different a/c charger box on it still didn't work ruling out a weak battery. I quit, Im done, save yourself the headache!

Purchased this fencing to keep our two medium size dogs from escaping under our fence. They only had to get that slight 'zap' ONE time, and that stopped them. We have since been able to remove the fencing (but keeping it handy, just in case) as they haven't tried to escape since. It's also very easy to setup. Hope this continues! Highly recommend.

I bought this item to help me protect my chickens. I set it up, made sure to follow all the specifications, charged the solar energizer… And nothing. No charge at all. I troubleshoot, checked everything over three times, and nothing. However, my efforts told me the solar energizer, despite being charged for over 12 hours through AC power and then several days in direct sunlight as I worked to troubleshoot, was barely producing a charge. And that's being generous!I contacted Amazon to try to get a new energizer. They said I'd have to send everything back in. Digging up the grounding stake would be a pain, so I asked if I could just exchange the solar energizer. Much easier and the only part I really have a problem with. They sent a message to the seller.Starkline responded, and I responded to them the next day when I saw the message. It has been a week since the initial message to the seller and I have written them three times since their itial response 2 days after the initial message. They have not replied at all.This seems like it’s a good fence that will be exactly what I need to protect my sweet, sassy chickens. Unfortunately, it is useless without the energizer. If Starkline’s customer service is this bad in correcting the matter of their defective product, then I don’t see why I should use their products in the future. I am still trying to contact them though. So if they help me resolve this manner eventually, I will update this review at that time.EDIT: It’s been 2 months since I bought this item. Not only did Starkline ignore my initial requests for help, but they denied the energizer was defective and said they’d have to charge me if it wasn’t and I sent it in. I made sure they knew I was NOT going to be paying them to fix the problem. At all. (Do they think me stupid? Or just ignorant from being a female-type customer buying electric netting?) They agreed and sent me a shipping label. I sent the energizer back to them. They got it and said I’d hear in 3-5 business days. 2 weeks later, I write them to find out what is happening. They had no idea who I was or what I was talking about.Yes, you read that right. THEY FORGOT THEY WERE WORKING ON A PROBLEM WITH ME.They wrote again 2 hours later saying they found me and my energizer was defective. (Surprise, surprise.) They said to give it 3-5 business days for a new one to arrive. 10 days later, I write asking where it is and for a tracking number. They told me they were going to send it out then. 10 days after they said they’d send it. 5 days after it should have already arrived. I wrote back in disbelief, and they made the excuse that the shipping label had fallen off and it’d been returned to them.Yep, they lied. This might have happened, but if it did, why did they not send it out again? There’s been more than enough time for me to receive it anyway, or at least for them to be able to say it would arrive any day.I’m now asking for a refund for this. I am also NEVER buying from Starkline again. Their customer service is at best lousy, and their products seem to be the same if my experience is anything to go by.

Was easy to install and worked great. I charged overnight and had it set up and running in 30 mins. Sheep and goats got larger area to graze and netting was perfect to provide good barrier.

Great works great

It’s perfect for our chickens, turkeys and goose! Just be cautious as the birds can fly out if they so choose. My husband was outside with the birds and when he exited the fence, one of the turkeys flew up and out, right over his head (he was a level below the fenced in area). This goes with any fencing.He said it was super easy to assemble but had to untangle it before he could set it up. The solar panel that comes with it is sturdy and holds a decent charge.HIGHLY RECOMMEND
