I have had this grater for about a year and I absolutely love the stainless!!! (No color rubs off of this like I have read others say) I like being able to put it in the dishwasher, if I do not feel like handwashing. I do handwash the one that has plastic on it, just in case it warps. The issue I have is that the hole, or the space between where the cheese meets the grater is just not placed right and so there ends up being about an 8th of inch of cheese layered between the outside of the grater and the housing… and you also have to dig some cheeses out of the grater! (colby jack for one) Grrrrr!!! If I am only grating a little bit, I would rather manually do it. This really needs a little redesigning. I have just recently gotten about fed up.

This product is a life saver! Following the directions I am able to easily shred the produce for perfect sizes. These are easy to clean. I believe this was money well spent.

You ever get a gadget and think "how did I ever live without this"?...well that's THIS for me...I have nerve issues in my neck, which cause problems in my arms and hands so finding something like this was literally a life saver. I can't feel my fingers sometimes so when I am cooking/baking and wanting to use something like grated zucchini or carrots, this tool grates everything in half the time it would take me.It is also SO easy to clean. I prefer to wash by hand but I have stuck in the top rack of the DW and it comes out great. I bought this for myself around Christmas and it was a great value for the money. The former tool I had was made by the same company as my stand mixer and was IMPOSSIBLE for me to use comfortably. I took a chance that this might be junk but as soon as I saw that it was not, I donated the old one. It is lightweight also and literally I press the little lever and it comes off from the mixer and disassembles with no fuss at all.I would highly recommend this for all of your grating tasks in the kitchen.

The set works very well, but it is a little on the small side. The graters could be bigger. The food gets bound up inside the tube and you have to pick it out. It works well enough, but could be better.
