My pool filter is 30 years old and the original label was completely bleached out so you couldn't tell what function the lever was pointed to. I didn't know they sold replacement labels until I looked at the parts list (yes I still have the original manual).A little pricey but everything from Hayward is a little pricey. Easy to install.

I have a Hayward Pool Sand Filter, and you do to if you are looking here. These sand filters arenโt the best, but they are as reliable as an anvil. That doesnโt mean they donโt need occasional maintenance and parts though.That label at the top, sometimes it needs to be replaced. This is simply a replacement label, not sure how else to explain this? My weekly pool service tech installed this, so I didn't rate easy to install. It looked easy enough, just line it up. As to durability, that is the question as you don't know how long it lasts until you need a new one so I didn't rate that either.

So glad I ordered these label plate markers for my pool pump valve, the old ones were gone a long time ago so i used a picture on my phone to see if I was in the correct slot, now that I have these labels I just stick one on when needed so I can tell if I am filtering, recirculating or flushing out the system. Sometimes the little things are the best of things and these self sticking labels are the best of them. Save yourself the hassle and order one of these so you dont have to guess anymore.

It was a perfect fit but it would not stick. There were no instructions to prepare the surface. I just returned it.
