Q1:Too hot and can not wear?
You can set the socks at temperature setting-high(red) first,then you can charge to set it at low (green) setting and you will feel fine. Or if you feeling warm,you can turn off the heating.
Q2:How do you know when the batteries are fully charged?
It takes 4-5 hours for fully charged when the light in the charger turn from red to green.

I purchased these socks in 2020 and used them only once before charging the batteries up this weekend for an epic ski trip. They were out of charge when I put them on the charger. After only a few hours all the blue bars were full showing a full charge, so I plugged the batteries into the socks, put the socks in my ski bag, and proceeded to prep for my trip. A few hours later I smelled something burning, but thought it was the neighbor doing construction. When I went to put last remaining items in ski bag, the bag was smoking!!! I pulled out the socks and found the cause was one of these socks! I immediately pulled out the battery and threw the sock in the sink. The heat burnt through the sock, burnt my boot, and brand new ski jacket! Had I left to run errands, packed up earlier and started driving, or wore the socks immediately... all would have been a disaster!! I'm so thankful I was home and still packing to avoid a potential fire and catastrophe! Please be warned!!

These work good and good battery life, but do not heat all around the foot.

I love these. Now they only heat the top of foot over the toes. It's about a 3 inch heating pad in your sock that takes a little rechargeable battery, that works at 3.7volts and puts out about 8watts. Some people say they don't or didn't work and that might be true but maybe they don't get cold feet easily like I do and maybe they got a bad pair. Idk, I own 10+ pairs of these and they've all worked great. My feet get super cold so I most definitely feel the heat. I love these sock because you can get them for $20 or less if you wait for a sale and they work very well for me. I love going out in the cold and not getting cold feet. Now pair these socks with some heated insoles for your shoes or boots and your set for the coldest days. 1 more thing is these socks can burn the top of your foot if your foot is isolated to well. You'll get blaster burns, they're annoying, itchy and a little painful. So don't fall asleep with them on high while you're in the house with your shoes on or under a blanket. 2nd photo is what the inside looks like

I wanted to wear them at my desk at home. They do heat up nicely, but be aware that the heated area is only on top of your toes. I think that may work ok inside a boot that could hold the heat in, but just as is my toes still felt cold underneath.

One of my feet is so happy and warm. The other gets mildly warm. I switch legs to see if itβs just one of my feet but itβs definitely one of the socks. What a bummer! It also doesnβt last very long on one charge. Disappointed!
