Wow I'm happy. Got this safty plug, to fix my 30+ year old pressure cooker. Went all over town 4 hardware stores no one had, but Amazon thanks amazon. My pressure cooker takes the old screw in safty plug. Thanks to Amazon caring it I'm back cooking again.. it was a little hard to get it started to screw in, but got it. All is good. Theses old pressure cookers are made so much better than new ones..

It screwed into a 50-year-old Mirro Matic just fine. Be careful to not cross thread. I haven't tried it yet, but I expect it to work OK.

Hard to find parts for my 1963 stovetop pressure cooker so am glad Amazon had what I needed. Did need to grease the threads to get it into the old girl's connection.
