While this is a comprehensive set, I'm a little disappointed. The cutting mat and large acrylic ruler are in metric measurements only, but the product description mentions the size in inches. I suppose if I would have blown up the photos of those tools to a very large size I might have noticed this. Why even mention inches though? The self healing cutting mat doesn't show cuts after using.The rotary tool feels pretty cheap, definitely not like that one high end company. The blades do cut fine though. The big scissors are heavy, but not overly impressed with them. The thread snippers cross blad in a strange way, feel like the friction will dull them.The wrist pin cushion elastic is quite small. I have a small wrist (5.75 inches) and it feels uncomfortable snug on me.The tape measure and 6 inch ruler i like a lot, they're both in inches. The tape measure is 10 feet long; I've never seen a sewing tape measure that long. I like the little clips.Overall, I don't think I would purchase this kit for $39.99. I think there are other similar products out there that are a bit better quality and for a bit cheaper.
