I now have 3 different styles of these reusable water balloons and these are my least favorite! They suction cup close & it takes a bit of finesse to get them to seal. They don’t open very far and they also are really thick so they kind of hurt when you get hit with them. They do work and are reusable so I am giving them 3 stars because I’m still saved from cleaning up little balloon particles all over my yard. However I think I’ll stick to the mushroom opening ones or the magnetic ones.

These reusable water balloons have been a hit with my kids and their friends all summer. We took them to a backyard barbecue last weekend, and the kids went wild, chasing each other with these colorful little orbs. They’re super easy to use, just dunk them in a bucket of water, and they fill up in seconds, no faucet needed. My seven-year-old could do it one-handed, which kept the water fight going nonstop. The silicone design is soft and safe, no sharp bits or magnets to worry about, which put my mind at ease when the younger ones joined in. We’ve used them at the pool and park too, and they hold up great, no leaks or tears after weeks of rough play. The pack comes with a dozen in bright colors and a handy storage bag, so we haven’t lost any yet. Only thing is they’re a bit small, so you need a few for a big splash, but that just adds to the fun. These have made our summer outings a blast, and I love that we’re not tossing out piles of plastic balloons.

I got these reusable water balloons thinking they’d be a fun, easy alternative, but honestly, I’m not a big fan. They’re tough to use—getting them to suction closed without magnets is a hassle, and half the time the water just spins out in the air when the kids throw them. The pack of 12 is a decent value, but the design just doesn’t work well. They are also a lot thicker than the other ones we have, and if you do manage to get it full of water and thrown, they hurt more than a normal water balloon would so I wouldn't recommend them for throwing to/at each other. Wouldn’t buy these again.

These reusable water balloons are a hit with the kids. They fill quickly, seal themselves, and there’s no plastic bits to pick up after. Great for backyard play, and they hold up well to rough use.

I love the idea of these but they just do not compare to water balloons. My 3 and 6 year old love water balloons but they only played with these for maybe five minutes and then moved on. I think for it to be more fun you need to own a ton of them so you can fill a bunch. Constantly stopping to refill a few isn't fun.
