Ordered this item twice. First time the pin was too short, and it would not remain closed under pressure. The second item pulled apart the first time I pulled the lanyard to use the snippers to trim fishing line. Total failure. Both times it is apparent poor-quality control and craftsmanship. I am a fan of Reddington and totally expect better quality control than this. Do not recommend this product.

Zinger came apart after two uses out on the water. Completely fell apart.

It broke in half the first time I fished in 5 minutes. Too bad for me that I missed the return date.

pin fell off where it's attached to back of zinger. luckily didn't lose the nippers

I bought one of the Redington zingers and a couple of the Orvis ones. They're both the same length and type. However, I like the Orvis a little better. The clips seem just a little higher quality on the Orvis. Regardless, this is still a good zinger for the money.
