It is difficult to review this item as I do not have bedbugs so I can't tell you if it actually does attract and catch them. But I will tell you that as a frequent traveler I do worry sometimes that I might bring bedbugs home with me from a hotel. Having these detectors gives me a measure of comfort that ideally, if there are bedbugs, I can use this to detect their presence and know that I will need to ensure that they are removed from the clothes in my luggage before I bring my suitcase into the house. My mother got bedbugs in her home many years ago from a trip and they are extremely difficult to get rid of once they are in your home. I'd much rather keep them from ever entering. Having 16 of these to place in and around hotel rooms to check for their presence is very reassuring. There are 16 traps for a very reasonable price. Another nice feature is that they are clear so if you DO find bedbugs, you can bring the traps to the hotel manager and it should be easy for him/her to see them and hopefully address the problem before anyone else accidentally brings them home to their families and homes. If they ever do detect the presence of bedbugs anywhere I take them I will absolutely come back and update my review to let you know!

It’s designed to trap bed bugs if they crawl inside, drawn by the ideal crevice-like shape. There’s no attractant, so the trap only works if a bug happens to come across it and picks this spot over others. That’s the key limitation: it’s probably less about whether the trap works and more about whether it gets found.The instructions show uses both at home and while traveling (like in your suitcase), but it’s probably more effective at home where you can place several around your mattress or in corners and give it time to work. These feel more like a detection method to alert you to a problem than a way to actually eliminate bed bugs.One quick tip: the instructions talk about stacking a “top” and “bottom” with the adhesive layer between them, but all 32 plastic pieces are identical. You simply sandwich two together with the sticky piece in between to form one trap—so don’t be confused when there’s no distinct top or bottom.The instructions and quality control could be a little better—mine was missing one of the adhesive strips—but overall this is still a very affordable detection tool.The marketing feels a bit overzealous, as effectiveness really depends on luck of placement—that they just happen to discover the trap.

These seem to be a decent deal for the money as it a huge package. Each trap consists of two plastic pieces (interchangeable top & bottom) and a very sticky insert to catch any new friends. So far, I haven't caught anything, but I'm using these more near our luggage as a test to make sure nothing comes out. We do not have an active infestation. So far so good.

Importantly, they're non-toxic and pet-safe, eliminating concerns about accidental poisoning. For future travels, I'll pack these traps for added peace of mind. Overall, this product delivers excellent results when used patiently and consistently.

I didn’t really like these. My tops did not stay on if they were moved. Even though the trap has a clear sticky trap that you put in the middle and even though it’s sticky and seems like it won’t come off.. well it does!! If you move them you gotta pay attention that it’s still put together or you will find that middle sticky piece sticking somewhere…I wouldn’t get them again
