I thought this might be a challenge to install but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The large clear digital readout made setting the controls very easy as well. On my test drive, I found that it provided a very smooth easy braking response.This is replacing the unit that came stock on my Silverado - which had quit working. When it was functioning properly, it was very dependable and worked well. I am not sure this one doesn't work even better.

I needed a proportional brake controller for my trailer and decided to try this one based on the specs. It works just like the Tekonsha IQ I had before — smooth braking, easy adjustment, and consistent performance even under load. It's a great deal compared to the name brand and does the job just as well.

Installed this in my F150 for a dual-axle cargo trailer. The proportional braking is very responsive, and the LED readout helps fine-tune the output depending on the load. It feels well built and secure once mounted. Honestly, I can't tell the difference from my old Tekonsha. Highly recommend.

I couldn't justify paying more for a big-name controller when this one had similar specs. I've taken it on two long hauls so far and the braking has been perfectly proportional with no issues. Great unit if you understand how to wire it correctly.

This controller surprised me with how easy it was to install and configure. The LED display is clear and the buttons are intuitive. I tow a travel trailer and noticed immediate improvement in brake response. You don't need to overspend when this unit delivers so well.
