I installed these lights on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6L 4x4. These are nice lights and they fit properly and are secure. I experienced no problem with CAN-BUS errors or blinker hyperflashing when wired correctly. The smoke lens makes the lights less noticeable in the bumper when the car is off. The reflector capability is negligible with this light, so don’t expect the same reflector brightness as the stock reflector. I do wish there was a nice reflector strip around the perimeter that was visible at night like the OEM reflectors, but the lights are certainly visible. For all cars that provide three electrical connectors with two wires per connector in the tail light, such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee, it is important to understand that for turn signals, brake lights, and hazard lights, you need to decide if you want yellow sequential lights or red lights. You cannot have both types using the Bestview light on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee or similarly wired vehicles, and you cannot combine the wires to try and make it work. If you choose yellow lights, when you brake the Bestview light will turn on its yellow light using a single sequence then will stay lit until you stop braking. With this wiring setup, you will see your standard red brake lights on the primary rear lights and the yellow lights on the Bestview light. In this scenario, the red daytime running lights will still work. This also means when you use your hazard lights, the Bestview light will turn on its yellow lights in sequence for each flash. If you choose to display the red lights (my personal choice) for turn signals, braking, and hazards, all of these modes will display in red, the daytime running light/parking light color will be red, and the yellow sequential light feature will be inactive. As someone who chose red for braking, turn signal, and hazard lights, I do wish the red lights were brighter when the brakes are activated. The difference is subtle. A brighter red during breaking would add enhance safety and visibility. Arguably, selecting the yellow color for braking, turn signals and hazard lights would be more noticeable, and the sequential turn feature is cool, but also creates inconsistency with your primary light colors on a Jeep GC.For my installation, I used WAGO 221-413 Lever Nuts in a 3-Conductor form. You can also use WAGO's 221 Series Inline Splicing Connector or the two-conductor version and double up on one side. I simply cut the factory wire, stripped both ends, then trimmed the pre-stripped wire ends on the Bestview light and connected the wire according to the following guide. I am not a fan of the T-Taps or tap splices that are included with these lights. They are prone to corroding and failure in exterior applications, even when wrapped. For DRIVER’s Side Rear Installation for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee:1. Attach the BLACK/Ground wire from the Bestview light to the black wire from the daytime running lights/parking lights which is paired with the white wire with brown stripe on the driver’s side. This is the negative ground wire needed for all of the lights to work.2. Attach the RED wire from the Bestview light to the white wire with brown stripe from the rear daytime running lights/parking lights on the driver’s side. This activates the red LED lights when the parking lights/DRL lights are active.3. If you want to display yellow sequential turn signals, and a yellow single-sequence brake light, and yellow sequential hazard lights, attach the YELLOW wire from the Bestview light to the solid white wire (no stripe) that comes from the turn signal light on the driver’s side. Trim the blue wire end to remove exposed conductor wire to avoid any shorts since the blue wire will not be used in this scenario. If you want to display the red light when you brake, use your turn signal, or hazard lights, attach the BLUE wire from the Bestview light to the solid white wire (no stripe) that comes from the turn signal light on the driver’s side. Trim the yellow wire end to remove exposed conductor wire to avoid any shorts since the yellow wire will not be used in this scenario.4. Attach the WHITE wire from the Bestview light to the reverse light wire that is white with a green stripe on the driver’s side. This activates the white lights when reversing.5. Test and confirm everything works as expected. For PASSENGER’s Side Rear Installation for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee:1. Attach the BLACK/Ground wire from the Bestview light to the black wire from the daytime running lights/parking lights which is paired with the white wire with orange stripe on the passenger side. This is the negative ground wire needed for all of the lights to work.2. Attach the RED wire from the Bestview light to the white wire with orange stripe from the rear daytime running lights/parking lights on the passenger side. This activates the red LED lights when the parking lights/DRL lights are active.3. If you want to display yellow sequential turn signals, and a yellow single-sequence brake light, and yellow sequential hazard lights, attach the YELLOW wire from the Bestview light to the solid white wire with green stripe that comes from turn signal light on the passenger side.
