We didn't need a fancy audio/video monitor - just a simple "is the baby crying" monitor and this is more than adequate. Love that it lights up also in case you don't want the volume too high. Easy, clear and affordable.

For our child this was the cheapest most reliable option. It works pretty far distance and lets you know if it becomes disconnected. The wireless option is nice for going out and aroud the house and still being connected. My son beats the living crap out of the reciever playing with it and its still reliable. If this isnt enough and you want video too, but are on a budget, just get this and a doggy cam and save a lot of money vs buying an all in one nanny cam for $150 or more

This monitor has a great range and it”s just what we needed.Just be aware that it doesn”t have noise cancelling. Meaning, you hear every single thing in your babys”s room).

Never disconnected or glitched so far, using it in a 3 bedroom apartment. Distance is not very far but few wall’s didn’t the signal.

We didn’t want to deal with the hassle of a wi-fi monitor, especially if traveling, so this monitor is perfect. The range is great, even through our brick exterior walls, and the sound quality is sufficient for baby monitoring.The parent unit does go through batteries every week or two (we use it for naps only), so it may be worth getting some high quality rechargeable AA batteries to use. I have tested some rechargeable AAs in this unit and did not see any loss of range or other issues.

Awesome, amazing as I have an autistic son that needs to be monitored even throughout the night as he wakes up quite often. I am able to keep an ear open to all his needs whenever he requests assistance or is going through distress and needs the attention to manage his emotions. Additionally, if power is lost to the monitor in his room, the receiver will start beeping to notify you. It cannot connect and maintain the monitoring signal. This helps immensely because my son doesn’t always make a sound for the monitor to pick up. Awesome product and I would suggest it to anyone with kids or a situation that needs to be monitored .

First I don’t have a baby. I can’t hear my apt bell in another room when I’m in office with ac on and door closed. I leave baby unit plugged in in bell room and parent unit in office. Works well. Could use more volume. On high volume fan noises give static of and on. Sensitivity good. Goes thru one wall. Works with Wi-Fi which another cheaper unit didn’t. Note it doesn’t use Wi-Fi it just works when you have Wi-Fi.

Good sound quality, but the battery function is enough to drive one mad. We pretty much leave it plugged it at all times, yet somehow the battery manages to drain, which leads to an extremely loud alert noise sometimes in the middle of the night. I’m not sure why this requires a battery to operate even while plugged in. Perhaps a safety issue in case of power outage. But not worth the 2am wake-up when we’re getting plenty of those already 😜

I purchased this after my 6 year old Philips Avent monitor broke. This ended up being a great replacement. Sound is great. It is very quick and responsive when there are noises in the bedroom. The little light is nice and I like being able to plug it in and not have to worry about batteries. I usually keep it on the kitchen counter anyway and don’t need to move it around so that works well. I would definitely recommend. It’s a very well made product. My older one would have probably lasted several more years if I had not dropped it MULTIPLE times. It just finally had enough and broke.
