We have four raised beds that grow a variety of vegetables and strawberries. We previously watered them with a hose and manual sprayer. This is about as much fun as watching the grass grow. It also consumed more well water than was needed.This drip irrigation system worked for us. It was easy for my wife to assemble as I handed her the parts. It does not leak and works as described. The water flow is adjustable. My wife added a programmable timer to automate the process and it works well.Everything is made of plastic or rubbery tubing. The whole assembly was secured to the soil with landscape staples to provide a neat installation.We like it. The grass continues to grow without our supervision.

This drip system kit contains what you need to set up your drip system. My favorite thing is the cutting tool. I usually use my utility knife to cut the tubing but you have to be careful not to cut your thumb while using it. This tool makes it easier, faster, and safer to cut with. It does get off easily, though, so, it's tearing up the bottom where the little knife blade slides into. I think it is dulling the blade a bit faster. But I've used it a ton since I got it and am still very happy this kit includes it.The quick connect parts sometimes don't slide together all the way so when you turn on the water, make sure you check each connector. Just push the tubing in more and you'll have no more leaks.I wish there was 2 types of connectors to the spigot. In the area i and using it. I only need a 1 way connector, so the splitter is not helpful for me. I had the tubing colbert to 1 side and all the fittings popped off. I haven't been able to get them back on again but I plugged it in to the other side and it is working OK. I worry that dirt might get in it though. I had planned to put a plug in that side. Until I can get it fixed, it's just opened.The drippers work well but I'm not sure I like the top sprayer. It's just a personal preference though. It just sprays too high for my needs.

Drip irrigation is my go-to for small areas, flower beds, and drought tolerant plants. It is easy enough to set up, and I love that you don't have to dig trenches to install PVC like in traditional sprinkler systems. It's also easy to reconfigure when needed if your layout changes, or if you add plants. And, it is easy to hide under ground cover like wood chips or pebbles. This is a great starter kit for a small area, and it is easy to expand with another kit or individual universal 1/4 inch drip line parts of any brand. Pair this with a battery operated drip line timer on your hose bib for automated watering that doesn't break the bank.

FANTASTIC set, and a great price, especially for everything included. I always really appreciate when sets like this include the tape as well!!The tubing was sturdy but still easy to cut with regular scissors, and all the pieces seem well-made and connect easily and securely, with no leaks. The system works as intended, and exceeded my expectations overall. It was very simple and quick to set it up; my 2nd grader loves to help me garden so he helped with this and he was able to cut the tubing with a little help and able to connect all the pieces by himself. The misting nozzles have a good range of watering spray options, based on how much you screw it open or closed. Even the cardboard box is a convenient size and reusable design to keep the excess pieces in. Very happy with this set overall, and impressed with how easy it was to use.
