Initial unboxing experience set the tone.. Assembly took about five minutes, no overcomplicated steps or fiddly parts. Extend a couple of poles, attach the arm support and you're pretty much ready to roll. The carry bag it comes with does its job, though I think it could’ve used a couple more pockets for accesssories and been a foot shorter for easier transporting. The included shovel is basic but surprisingly sturdy for quick digs. As for the headphones, they’re cheap but functional. I tossed them in the bag and forgot about them until I needed them, which feels about right for what they are. You may want to upgrade at some point as these don't look like they'll handle multiple sessionsWe took it down to the river where tubing season has kicked off and found a good number of coins and a couple of low-grade rings. Most of the items were on or near the surface so I didn't get to see the The screen is super easy to read, even in full sunlight, which made things a lot smoother once I got into the swing of it. It took me a little while to dial in the settings, but that was more user error on my part not anything wrong with the detector itself. Once I figured it out, it was great. Precision mode was really nice to hone in exactly on an item.One thing I really appreciated is the adjustable height. I’m 6’2”, and my son, who’s nearly 10 and tall for his age, could both use it comfortably between adjustments. It didn’t feel flimsy or toy-like, which I half-expected at this price point. For a beginner or casual weekend hunter, it hits a good balance of usability and build without going overboard. And for the price - it's a great starting point.

Tried out this metal detector in the backyard with my two kids over the weekend. It was easy to use and not complicated, so even the kids could join in. The adjustable height works well for people of different sizes. It has a wide detection range and fairly accurate pinpointing. The five modes make it easy to switch based on different environments. The waterproof design makes it more reassuring to use outdoors. The large coil is responsive, and the backlit screen is clear even in low light. Overall, it feels stable and reliable—great for family fun or for more experienced users.

Took this on a trip out to a wooded area where I usually hike. After a little scanning near the trail, I actually hit on a few signals. The waterproof coil let me use it right near a stream, and the fact that it didn’t freak out every time it hit a small rock or root made the whole thing way smoother. What really made a difference was being able to narrow down the signal area using the pinpoint mode. That saved a lot of digging time. The machine itself is lightweight enough that I didn’t feel weighed down, and I like that it’s easy to collapse and pack up.

I’ve been taking it to different environments—open fields, near old buildings, and once even tried it around a dried-up creek. It holds up well. The display is bright enough to see even when it’s sunny, and the tones help distinguish between items without guessing too much. I’m still getting familiar with all the detection modes, but just using the basic one, I’ve already pulled up coins, pieces of jewelry, and even what looked like an old key. I enjoy that it feels like a real hobby now—not just scanning the ground but actually learning how to read the signals better.

The detector came with a bunch of stuff—shovel, earphones, even batteries—so it was ready to go right out of the box. The adjustable size made it easier to carry, and I’ve already used it a couple times in the backyard. It picks up coins and other little things well. Still figuring out the modes, but so far I really like how it handles.

This thing feels like a solid pick for beach scanning. I took it out to a local shoreline and gave it a go for a couple of hours. The waterproof coil really comes in handy near the surf, and it didn’t feel too heavy, even after walking around for a while. The screen’s backlight made it easier to read when the sun started going down. I’m planning to bring it on more trips.

I’ve had so much fun using this metal detector! It’s easy to use, even for a beginner like me, and the five modes help narrow down what you're searching for. The large backlit screen is super clear, even in bright sunlight or late in the evening. I’ve taken it to the beach and shallow water—it’s fully waterproof and works great. Found a few coins and old nails already. The build quality feels solid, and the depth detection is impressive. Had so much fun with this for treasure hunting.

Got this as a gift for someone who’s into outdoor hobbies, and they’ve been using it pretty steadily since. They mentioned the adjustable height was a big plus because they could get it just right without straining their arms. The included earphones were a nice touch too—apparently they help pick up the subtle signals better. The whole kit feels pretty well thought out.
