I like to play some games on my phone when I'm charging my car and this does a fantastic job keeping everything happy. Occasionally my phone would crash and reboot and since I started using this it hasn't happened at all. It draws a lot of power, at least what I fast charger would draw, so bear that in mind if you want to power it from your phone it'll drain it really fast. Better to use a battery bank or plugged into an outlet. It works great and it's beefier than others I've used

NOT dead on arrival. Literally so quiet I thought it wasn't running. I didn't notice until I picked it up and the back felt cold. Awesome power cooler.

I have a few phone cooling fans and I am always impressed by how well they work. I was skeptical about the cooling abilities but they really do make a difference. I think that out of all that I have tried this one is the best. The reason this one is set apart from the others in quality is that this one seems to be able to sense the need for higher and lower cooling settings based on the temperature of the phone or surface against the cooling pad and it will adjust accordingly. What this means is that since it will most likely be running off of your phones usb or lightning port or a battery pack, it won’t just eat your battery for lunch on a generic setting you can’t control. The lower speed was so quiet I didn’t know the fan was running. Is it worth the price, that is up to you. For me I had this sitting in my cart for a while contemplating it but it definitely is my favorite fan. It is MagSafe compatible and comes with a detachable clip that had enough grip to hold on to the battery pack on my phone

This cooler works out of the box with magsafe, and also includes a magnetic sticker and clip for phones without magsafe. It cools very quickly once turned on, and feels like it cools my phone effectively even through the case. It can even be used on your skin to cool yourself down.

I play a lot of mobile games and had recently started noticing that my phone was getting hot during some of the more intense gaming sessions. It was beginning to affect both the battery life and the performance, so I needed a solution, and quickly. The Nubia RedMagic 5 Magnetic Cell Phone Cooler became the answer of sorts to that problem. My kit came with both the magnetic pad as well as a plastic clip-on with which to affix the cooler to the back of the phone. On my non-Magsafe device, the clip worked well, but I wonder if the lightweight plastic will be able to stand up to repeated use over time.A QR code is included in the instructions, or if you're security-conscious like myself, you can download the 'Goper' app by Nubia (note: the app name is not mentioned in the documentation, I had to search for it).The app allows you to customize the cooler as well as the RGB lights. Once in use, the cooler did get my phone cold to the touch over time. However, the temps shown in my notifications are for some bizarre reason shown in the very foreign and alien Celsius measurements instead of the Fahrenheit that we Yanks are used to. Seeing all temps in "C" was maddening to me as we don't use the metric system here and I had to go online in order to convert the shown temps to a form that I could understand. There is no way in the app settings to switch this to the imperial measurements that Americans understand. This is a huge blunder to me, and I will never understand why foreign companies do this when selling products to the US market. This one little annoyance not only irritates me, but will make me less likely to use the product or recommend it to others.Nubia Technology Co., Ltd. PLEASE FIX THIS!!Some sections of the app are for some strange reason written in Chinese characters. Example: under 'Mine' a click on 'List of Third Party Shared Information' takes you to a webpage written entirely in Chinese language text, which means that we can't read it. Stuff like this needs to be fixed.Other than that, the cooler worked as expected and lowered the temp of my phone when gaming or watching online videos. I recommend this cooler, but if you're American, be prepared to have to constantly convert the temps to a form that we can understand. However as a Yank, I'll keep my eye out for another solution that shows the heat levels in Fahrenheit which I can actually understand.

First off, what kind of magic does this thing do? The unit gets cold almost instantly while holding it in your hand facing your palm. The whole unit functions perfectly and with zero noise. The see thru color is a nice touch so you can check out the circut boards in the device. The build quality is pretty good because I've dropped it a couple times and it still works fine.I belive this is the greatest cooling device I've ever used on any of my devices. It comes with a magnetic pad to stick to your phone if it is a glass back or you can use the universal adapter like the one im using in the picture. Now lets get to the bad part...the cord, it runs off of a cord that plugs into your phone and it makes holding the phone during gaming sessions kinda have a learning curve to it...but the trade off is a cooling unit perfect for xbox Gamepass gaming sessions that heat up your device...im telling you its a trip how fast this thing can get cold...almost like a tiny fridgerator for your phone.

Works as advertised. It gets really cold and fast too so it's perfect if you have any overheating issues with your phone. It comes with a clip for it but I used the magsafe along with my Pixel 9 Pro that's in a Magsafe case and it's worked great so far when I use it. My only gripe is that since it needs to be plugged in via USB C for power, it needs a shorter cable to be included if you decide to use your phone as the power source since it can get in the way, but other than that no real complaints.
