This is a very straight forward and basic switch that allows for up to 8K video. I have not seen any issues with video or sound loss but that may vary to others and depending on their TV. For me, it works great for my television and monitors. I am able to easily just unplug and take this on the go if I need it. I like that is powered by type c and can be run on USB port of your TV. The picture for quality from this is pretty good so far. As stated, I cannot really tell any difference between this and the TV HDMI ports but that may vary from TV to TV so just be aware of that. It can work with older HDMI TV as it will just downgrade the quality to whatever the TV has. Again, I have not seen any issues with video/sound quality on that as well. This has worked great for all my consoles and bluray player so far. I mostly use this for my PS5 and xbox consoles. I do not really use it for anything else to be honest. All the ports worked and had no issues detecting the output. It does come with a remote that does require line of sight to work. The buttons are simple and you just get the three outputs. The print on the remote did wear down a bit too easily for something I do not use too often but that is okay for me. The remote allows you to just change the output and power the switch on and off. You are not going to run out of battery power very quickly as you are just using it to change channels. There is also an option to manually change the channel on the device itself if needed. It is just a simple push button in order to scroll through the HDMI switch. This does not come with an HDMI cable. You will need at least four HDMI cable in order to utilize all the ports. The device gives three additional hdmi ports and one HDMI port in order to plug your TV or screen into. It does require to be plugged in in order to use the device. Overall this product has done a great job for my televison. One thing I will note is that not all devices are 8K capable so this does not allow it to upscale to 8k or anything like that. It will connect regardless though. I did not see any issues with video or sound. It is easy to connect. There are LED light indicators are not extremely bright so I do not have to worry about it being distracting at night.

While this box does what I need it to I have one thing I have to nitpick that really bothers me. The controller uses direct line of sight Infrared. Meaning. You can’t hide the box, if you can’t see the front side of the box with your own eyes, the remote can’t see it either. It is very sensitive and will not work unless you point the remote DIRECTLY at the box.Box 4.5/5 starsRemote 1/5 stars

I only have 2 HDMI ports on my TV and have more devices that require more ports and this helps a lot and works great.

Exactly what I needed to connect all of my components to the tv. It is small and attached perfectly to the bottom of the set with double sided tape. Barely noticeable.

This works perfectly. No issues with the data transfer rate. The picture is high def and works perfectly. I have it set up with my Xbox and my switch. Changes to which ever is active at the moment with our any issues. Love this thing

Well built and simple to use, this little metal box will enable you to switch between 3 different inputs with the push of a button. The remote has direct access to each input, whereas the box gives sequential access.I included a photo of the actual unit, since the brand owner used digital renderings.

I have a DVD and VHS player I want to use on my TV. My son helped me set everything up years ago and said, since the game console play Blu-Ray, it would work just fine without them. For me, learning what the controls do on the game controller when you are using it for video instead of gaming is a little hard to remember.I got the switch and connected my other video players to it and used the first slot for the game console. I didn't tell my son, who has better eyesight and hearing than I do and lets me know when the sound/picture isn't up to his standards. Since I had the game console on #1, no switching was required and he never knew the difference. I still haven't told him and he still doesn't notice difference.

A handy HDMI switch with remote – ideal for several devices where you only have 1 monitor or TV. Comes with a remote which required 2 x AAA batteries (not included) and a USB to USBc power cable (no power transformer included) but you need to plug it in to make it work!Made from aluminium with a matt black finish. Measuring 12cm x 4.7cm x 1.9cm deep.On the rear 3 HDMI inputs and 1 output NOT as the listing photo with 4 INPUTS, on the front IR sensor, red indicator light for the inputs, outputs (OUT) to indicate which output is active a power LED and a manual switch.Worked well without flickering on a 4K and an 8K monitor. When used with PC, Nintendo switch and PS5. Switching is either manual mode where the inputs are cycled, or button press via the remote where can specify an actual channel or with the auto facility which activates the input of the last device was used. We found this feature a bit annoying as you don’t always want the same device (isn’t that the point of a switch?) if you have the remote to hand it’s just easier to press the buttons. TheWell worth the money when all your monitor TV ports are used up and no fiddle around the back of your display when you need to remove and swap cables. The only diss is with the new 16K dp cables rearing their heads we are sat wondering how long will it be before monitors won’t feature HDMI cable inputs? We cannot review the price because at the time of test the price wasn’t displayed.Does it do the deed well? Yes it does. Does it do it well? To be fair it does, but there always that niggling doubt about 16K.

I got this HDMI switch for my desk setup. I was tired of changing HDMI cables behind the back of my monitor. Now I've got my PC, work laptop, and PS5 all hooked up to one monitor. Pretty handy, gotta say.The switch itself is pretty small, which is great 'cause my desk is already a mess. Build quality seems solid aluminium built, and the remote is nice too but in my setup its not very useful as I can simply reach the box to change the channel.Picture quality is on point - my games look awesome at 4K 120Hz. No complaints there. It's cool that it can handle 8K too, even though my monitor can't.Now, the annoying bits. First off, no power adapter in the box. Had to use one of my USB ports to power it, which is kinda lame. Also, sometimes when I switch inputs, there's this split-second where the audio cuts out. Used the PC USB, but when I turn it off to use the PS5, the power goes with the PC, so had to use a separate USB adapter. Not a huge deal, but it would have been much better if they provide a small USB brick. The auto-switch feature? Yeah, it's hit or miss. Sometimes it switches when I don't want it to, which is a pain when I'm trying to multitask. All in all, it gets the job done. Makes life easier not having to swap cables all the time. Just wish they'd sorted out those little issues. If you're drowning in devices and short on ports, it's worth considering.

This is a compact, smart looking switch, allowing you to connect up to three devices to a single HDMI input on a TV or monitor. Ideal if you have run out of inputs. All of the connections (three inputs and one output) are on the rear of the unit, while on the front are the indicator LEDs, a manual input selection switch and the infrared receiver. There are three options for switching: manual, remote control and auto. I don't like auto mode in general (i.e. switching to the most recently powered on device) as it is very easy to accidentally switch. The mode does work though, as does manual and remote control switching. The manual switch on the front toggles through the inputs in sequence, whereas the remote has a specific button for each input. For me, another button on the remote to toggle through the inputs would be useful - I use a "one for all" learning remote and that would allow a single button to be learned rather than three. That won't be an issue for most people though. In use the switch performs exactly as it should. After switching there is a couple of seconds delay (while the HDMI connection is negotiated) before the picture appears (this is normal), and I'm pleased to say no flickering. The remote needs 2 x AAA batteries (not included). The switch is USB-powered. A cable is included (no charger). Mine runs happily from the USB port of a Roku Ultra, so you might be able to save yourself a mains socket like me.The switch is rated up to 8K at 60Hz. I can't test that high but I can confirm that it works without issue in my kitchen set-up which is based around 4K at 50Hz.
