The shaft that the tension wheel rides on is hollow. If it’s applying enough force to tension your chain without skipping, then it’ll just snap. Don’t waste your money on this.

Got this for my BMX cruiser build this fall. Looks to be of good quality. I fully expect it to work well for my needs, as I have no expectations to do wheelies or do any jumping. My only concern is the extremely "lightweight" wheel may bend with tension or wear quickly, and whether my chain will fit properly with it, but that is to be determined.

Works very good once you have it dialed in nothing bad to say but one thing get a narrow wide jocky wheel it works better I mean way better than that metal one it comes with chain stay on the bike

This has very little travel so when position correctly on the derailleur stop, the arm doesn't go past vertical giving you only chain engagement on the rear cog of about 25% - not enough.Other's allow closer to 50% engagement when the chain is sufficiently shortened.I can't use this on any of by single speed builds.Quality and weight seems nice, but the spring design is where it fails.

For my single speed setups if I have to use a tensioner I prefer a bolt on style such as the one made by DMR, however this has proved to be quite reliable and importantly very adjustable.

Noisy when pedaling. Most likely due to lack of a bearing inside the wheel .I’m going try and swap out the wheel with one from a derailleur. They’re better tensioners available.
