It's made of felt, unlike other busy boards. This keeps the cost and the weight down. It's jam-packed with activities for kids though, so there's plenty to keep a kids' attention. The felt/fabric construction makes it easy to mount, it takes only two wall anchors to mount, so it's great for busy parents. I mounted mine in about 5 minutes--two drill holes, two drywall anchors, two screws, done.

First, for anyone who also gets confused when looking at this as there's nothing that describes it as such, this is not a magnetic board or thick cardstock. It's made of soft, felt like materials. Im not sure how to feel about this. I'd prefer the board over this material in terms of durability. The colors are bright and vibrant and it definitely is a busy board. It's soft to the touch which has its pros and cons. Pro being less chance of injury if tossed around con being harder to clean. I guess it could be thrown in the washer but I feel this version would last less longer and will fade faster from use and cleaning in my opinion. Outside of that, it's a great size, easy to transport and the kids like it. Just keep in mind it's all cloth/fabric.

The Montessori sensory wall board is awesome! Soft, portable and easily stored away. I like that the kiddos can use it on the floor or the wall but I prefer the floor. Can also take it traveling. There are lots of activities and learning. The fabric seems durable and colorful. I think children would really like this and can play together and have fun and learn at the same time.

Cute learning toy, with lots of activities. It is just felt though, it's not something I would hang on my wall. I just fold it up and let baby play with it like a busy book.

This sensory wall activity is so what I was looking for to keep my daughter entertained for hours. She absolutely loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it. Its perfect for her to learn her ABC's, numbers, shapes, colors, and how to tie shoes among so many more things. This sensory board has helped her review her letters and numbers for school. It is made of thick felt and the numbers, letter, and shapes are velcro to the board. It comes with screws so you can mount it to the wall. It is perfect and what I was looking for and so much more. I love that it also has the days of the week, months, and teaches them about time as well. It also has hands with fingers fir basic addition and subtraction. Don't hesitate buy it now, you won't regret it.

This is genius. My son uses this everywhere. It's lightweight and can be hung on the wall or put on the floor. He loves the sound of Velcro and moves the letters and shapes all the time. Even though he doesn't understand what they are just yet, he's still learning when he uses it. And it's easy to fold up and put away after. I think these should be in classrooms personally. It's a great busy keeper for all sorts of situations.

Larger than expected! Approximately 3 to 4 children can play on it at once--granted they can share well together.This excited and entertained kids ages 10 months old to 6 years (used in a mixed aged childcare setting). Came with 2 sets of alphabets and other stick on pieces.
