I liked the size and portability. It seemed to work just fine. But, near the end of the the FIRST 90 minutes session, some tall grass wrapped around the coil and the plastic piece holding the coil in place broke. Boo!

Davvero un gran bel giochino, che poi giochino non è in quanto può essere usato anche a livello agonistico è abbastanza potente da rilevare oggetti in profondità anche 10 15 cm e poi semplice da trasportare. Adatto sia bambini che si vogliono avvicinare a questo mondo sia da adulti per averlo sempre a portata di mano

Got this as a present for my daughter in the spring, and we've had a great time with it since. Easy to carry, easy to use. It's held up to a child's use in fields, woods, and beaches. Haven't found any doubloons yet, but there's always hope!

This is awesome for the price! It doesn’t have all the features of an expensive detector like depth or different tones or numbers, but works very well at what it does do. Feels cheep n flimsy but has not broken after many uses. Love how compact it gets and easy to use for a beginner. I have found tons of coins and jewelry at all the neighborhood parks.

I'm an avid metal detectorist and use higg end machines but this purchase was for my daughter. It's easy to use, only a few buttons, has a visual display and good volume. It folds up to become very portable. For what it is, I think it's great for someone who is just starting out and wanting to give metal detecting a try or for kids.This machine IS NOT for experienced metal detectorists. It lacks a pinpoint or any real target separation. If you're wanting something to start out with but possibly become serious woth and you're hoping this unit will last you a bit, this is not right for you. This is a toy that does detect metal but has no real depth or separation.Great for kids though!

Very good basic metal detector from one of the best detector manufacturers. The Minelab Go Find 11 is a very basic metal detector with two search modes and a single tone signal. It uses Minelab’s proprietary software so it is great for locating targets in the ground. It does not have the discrimination or customizable features on more expensive detectors. If you are looking for an excellent detector for kids or beginners this is a good machine to start with. I have several other more advanced detectors and this machine impressed me with it’s capabilities. The LED display is easy to read and the tone is easy to hear. With two search modes there is not a lot of discrimination, but it does find targets readily. I bought it because it collapses down fairly small and I like the idea of a detector that fits into a day pack without disassembly. It is also a Minelab with the Minelab software. There are models of the Go Find that are more advanced than this one, so it you want a little more capability I would look at those models. All in all, it is a great little detector.

I never knew they made a mini foldable metal detector until I was looking online to see if I could bring my metal detector on an airplane or how to pack one. I was watching videos and came across this Minilab Go Find 11, the reviews were good and I didn't want to spend alot of money on another detector. They had other mini's to buy, but for the price of $99.00 I thought I'd try it. We went to St Pete's Beach FL and I brought this mini everywhere, it was so easy to pack, lightweight and it worked great. I liked the settings on it, which told you what you found and what was amazing it detected coins almost 12+ inches in the sand, you wouldn't think this mini could detect deep but it did. It's also waterproof (I did not use in ocean, not permitted in FL) I found coins in the little pools on the beach. This was a great buy, now I can bring my mini on the motorcycle fits in the bag, where my other one does not. Oh and one more thing, you don't have to pack your Pin Pointer, because you can fold this mini down to use as a pointer once less thing you have to pack. When flying pack it in your carryon bag, you will have to take it out and put it on the belt, TSA got a kick out of the size and how portable it was. Can't say enough about it.

Zuerst hatte ich für 50 EUR einen No-Name Detektor bestellt mit analogem Display. Dieser hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert, erinnerte mehr an einen Zufallsgenerator. Im Gegensatz dazu funktioniert der Go Find 11 einfach super. Einfach nur einschalten und es funktioniert so wie man es von einem Metalldetektor erwartet. Piepst wenn Metall da ist und zeigt sogar auf dem Display an was es für Metall ist. Damit machts spass. Im Gegensatz dazu das No-Name Teil war nur frust. Hier lohnen sich die 120 EUR für dieses Markenprodukt definitiv. Informiert euch welches die renomierten Marken von Metalldetektoren sind und lasst besser die Finger von anderem Müll.

An excellent choice for a entry level Metal Detector. Or a backup one. Minelab in my opinion is top of the line. And with this one. You aren’t going to be disappointed with options. However! The lack of a Target ID might be a problem for some.
