I would not recommend this item. Both handles do not open and by trying to open both handles the wood broke. Hoped for a picnic with my children but this item does not work.

This is really nice quality picnic basket. I like the cloth detail on the basket. The picnic "blanket" on the other hand is like a plastic tablecloth. Had I realized that it's not as it's portrayed (like a cloth or polyester blanket) I would have ordered a different one because it seemed to be a good value. I wouldn't get this gain for the price personally.

This must be the one that litte red riding hood carried to grandma's house. I take partial blame for not looking at the dimensions. However, considering the price point, I imagined that it would be bigger. I have one in my kitchen already that I use to store snacks in a decorative way and it is much bigger and I paid a lot less for it. That being said, it is a quality basket, it's just small. Is this a picnic basket for one? The plastic "blanket" is huge in comparison to the basket. I can't see it holding a lot, definitley just room for food for one person. It is cute, it is sturdy, it should be bigger. The one with the cloth is the product that I ordered. The one without a cloth insert is the one I already have.

I am definitely not an expert on baskets, picnic or otherwise. So, basket enthusiasts (my sister is one 😉) may wish to check out other reviews.Admittedly, I am terrible at estimating size (and time, distance, height, age, weight, etc. 😬). For some reason, my brain just doesn’t work that way. Because of this, the 15.4” mentioned in the item’s name meant absolutely nothing to me. I was solely focused on the words, “Extra Big Capacity.”So, I was very disappointed whenever it arrived, and I found it wasn’t even large enough for a 16.9 oz water bottle to stand upright with the lid closed. 😔 As another testament to its size limitations - if you store the picnic blanket (that comes with it) inside of it, you really don’t have much room for anything else.The picnic basket is cute, and it seems like it’s built well enough to last for a while. However, I just can’t get past the size issue. While I concede I probably should have whipped out a measuring tape to see how large 15.4” really is, I still feel I was led astray by “Extra Big Capacity.” Since most people will know what to expect when they read 15.4,” I’ll give this product 4 stars. If you are expecting a small-ish basket, then I’m sure you’ll be very happy with it. 😊
