I’m so impressed with this macerator pump. The product is super well thought out and includes literally everything you need to dump your black and gray RV / travel trailer tanks at home (either to a clean out in your front yard or even directly to a toilet). It includes the pump which tightens directly to your camping rig, gloves, power cord with two power options, a drain hose, and a clear piece of tubing so you can see when it’s no longer pumping water (empty tanks) or when it’s pumping cleaner water (you can see it turn from nasty to cleaner water if you use your black tank flush during this process).With dumping costs around $20 / trip in Colorado, this pump has already paid for itself in my first season using it. Draws about 120 watts according to the Anker Solix battery I normally run it from using the 12v tubular/lighter port. I'm not sure why, but it sometimes dips down to 80w. It appears to break down toilet paper well, though I didn't investigate too closely. I've used it several times through a 5/8" 100ft hose. I can dump my 4 tanks in about 20 mins. 3/4" would be a bit faster but the fatter hose costs a lot more. A normal 3" sewer hose is ~20x bigger, so of course this pump is going to take a lot longer.The pump is somewhat heavy, so when I connected it directly to the outlet pipe it vibrated more than I liked and dripped a little. Using a short length of sewer hose and letting the pump sit on the ground is the way to go.

I used it for 3 weeks almost daily. It worked as intended.However, the cigarette lighter connection is very low quality and stopped working. I had to remove it and do straight connection. See photo after crimping it I added liquid tape. Also, the footprint when I mounted to my pipe it was hanging side ways and could not have it secured. Maybe it’s the way my fittings were installed. Otherwise it worked well and did the job. If possible in the future to have an adopter for 110 volt it would have been easier to connect to generator or outlet since the battery is all the way in the front. My camper is only 19 feet. You might need an extension with the correct red to red wire or gender changer. I purchased at amazon

Love it. When you don't have a big sewer pipe to drain in it pumps it thew the dedicated hose with ease. I love it.

Although the gasket sucks and keeps falling out in between uses this worked as intended for the first few times I had to use it. Less Than 2 months later the motor struggled to start and was over amping. I confirmed the volts are good so the motor itself is the issue.

unit works as it should and comes with everything you need. its heavy and pulls a lot of power but it works and i have used it many many times. works great.
