It worked for about 6 months, once winter hit, it would freeze up, and on a long trip it just stopped working, even after I cleaned and cleared it, I could not bring it back to life. also you will have to reintall better wiring, the load it takes most cars do not have the wiring. the sound is not common in the US so it will capture peoples attention but its not a deep throaty sound if that's what your looking for.

I put it in my Minivan (2003 Chevy Venture), and it was quite easy to install. Required power routing and wiring, but that was plenty easy enough. It is loud, but not quite truck sounding as I was hoping. It does sound like most SUV horns, only much louder. Every time I hit it, I see heads spinning, but no one can find me because I am in a Minivan. The confusion it causes is extremely amusing.

This is just as loud as any standard car horn. Don't buy into the hype, it's not very loud. After looking around if you want an air horn that sounds like an air horn I'm convinced you just need to spend $200-$300 and buy an air horn.

second purchase of the same item. the first one was not installed firmly on the motorcycle so it fell off and got broken. I bought a second one because I found nowhere the same loud blast that wake up cagists!!!
