According to the description this printer was supposed to be compatible with my HP 4700dtn...the exact same fuser that was in my printer when we bought it, but the part number on my original had a different number than what was printed on the replacement I ordered...that part number was never listed on the description of the new one I ordered, but I thought since it was supposed to be compatible, it'd be an easy install...fuser wouldn't insert correctly and my printer kept saying there was a jam, so I'm returning it and ordering specifically the part number instead of just the Q7502A description.

Item defective and it clearly wasn't new, as described. This appears to be a bad listing for Amazon.

Have only had this Fuser in the printer for 1 month and technicians are telling us that it needs replaced.

Unknown to us at the time, the fuser kit was defective when it was received. After paying for an HP service call because the printer would not function, we discovered the defect. HP actually honored the warranty and replaced the part for free. My advice - pay the extra cost and get parts from the actual supplier.

I was spending hours deliberating on the purchase of a new work-horse color laser printer. Then I figured that I'd look at parts to fix ours. The price was a little hard to swallow at first, but now I'm glad that I did. The installation was VERY easy. In fact, as easy as installing toner. Our prints now look great, and the unit works as good as it did the day we installed it. Worth the price!
