It's very easy to set up. First, tighten each pole, then hang what you want to hang (because it's very high, I have to do this), and then use a rubber mallet to drive it into the ground very well. It's really great that it can keep my string of lights away from the ground and prevent them from touching people.

I'm very glad to receive this birdhouse hook. The rod is very heavy, of good quality and strong, and the rod tip is also very beautiful. It's very easy to plant in the ground and it's very stable when planted. It just withstood a strong wind today. I'm planning to buy another one to hang in the front yard. Hanging a solar street lamp and a flower basket should be quite nice.

The rods in this shepherd’s hook are narrow enough that I doubted whether they would be strong enough to hold my two large and heavy bird feeders. Happily, I was wrong. This is not only a very attractive shepherd’s hook, it’s also sturdy enough to handle the heavy load. This is a very nice addition to my patio.
