I got this to use as a dim light for reading at night. It works very well for that purpose.I haven't had a chance to use it for a plant, but I would think that it works well for that too.The base is sturdy and the switches work as intended.

It’s really easy to use. This LED full-spectrum vertical floor-standing plant growth light can provide light to the plants in my living room to meet the lighting needs. The LED full-spectrum vertical vertical floor-standing plant growth lamp was purchased to provide supplementary light for the growth of the newly divided Monstera deliciosa indoors. It is placed next to it and shines flatly. It gives a finishing touch to the atmosphere. The supplementary light is sufficient, and the irradiation area is large. The plants More light. I plan to keep using it for about a week to see if the green leaves will be more full of life and if there will be more green sprouts. Indoor plants must supplement light, control water and nutrients.

The best feature by far is its full-spectrum lighting that mimics natural sunlight, providing tailored wavelengths for every stage of plant development—seedling, vegetative, and flowering. The three lighting modes are easy to toggle through, and easy dimming options allows for precise control—whether it’s a gentle ambient glow or a strong photosynthesis boost. It’s great for sensitive plants or adjusting to seasonal daylight fluctuations. One of the most practical design touches is the adjustable height, extending up to 70.9 inches. It’s great cause with the extenders it grows with the plants. It’s advertised as for a single plant, but it is definitely large enough that if small enough several plants can utilize the light at once. It’s stable, sleek, and doesn’t look out of place in a living room or office.

My wife really likes growing plants and when she saw this light I went ahead and ordered it for her.The light is built solid and is very stable as long as the light hangs in the direction the plate is pointed. It does throw out a decent cone of light and is bright. It has 3 different light modes and a brightness adjustment. It is a 24V system so it can be used for long periods of time and should last for several years while saving you money on power costs. It also has what I consider now-a-days to be a necessity, a memory function so that when the light loses power it retains the settings. It does have 4 light timers. I don't use the built in timers for lights like this, I use WiFi enabled switches that I control from my phone for what we want. There is also a app for tracking a plant's lighting, watering, fertilizing, and so on which we don't use since we have several different plants to maintain. I'm sure some will find it useful though and it's something that I haven't seen before. It is supposed to be able to control the light via bluetooth or WiFi, but since it requires me to create an account I didn't test it. The app only has a 3.2 rating so I'm not interested in 'testing' it and I don't want to take the chance of ending up getting more spam. Unfortunate, because I was wanting to see if it could track more than one plant. It comes with the stand in 5 pieces that have to be screwed together so I put it together and we tested the light. The first issue came when we realized that the light was much taller than we needed and had to be about 1 1/2 to 2 feet shorter. The issue is that it has to be taken apart to lower or raise it. The stand screws together and make it difficult to change the height. If you are using it at one height then it's not a problem but if you need to adjust it often (moving to different plants), this becomes an irritating problem. We didn't realize that it was not adjustable and removing pieces means that you have to keep track of the removed piece(s) if you need to raise it later. This would have been much better as an adjustable extension pole instead of screwing together. I did deduct a star for this adjustment issue on a plant light. We also now realize that the circular head is smaller (a little under 8 inches) than it looked like in the pictures. We thought it was at least 10-12 inches. It does throw out a wide cone so this isn't that much of an issue, just be aware in case you are expecting something larger like we were.We do recommend this GLOWRIUM Grow Light from the GLOWRIUM Store if you need a grow light, but remember it is hard to adjust for height.

The grow lights have different light wave ranges for seed starting, plant growth and flowering. There are timer and dimmer options to fine tune lighting for healthy plants. The light stand is sturdy and tall enough for our largest house plants, and will be especially helpful to the plants in the short days of the winter months.
