This is the first textured privacy film I’ve tried. It’s a bit harder to install than the smooth films I have on my bedroom windows. I found it difficult to get a nice clean cut when trimming due to the raised texture. The blade wants to slide when it hits a divot. Even using a straight edge didn’t help. I couldn’t quite get it trimmed straight so in a few spots there’s small gaps between the window frames and film. Not a huge deal for me personally since this is on a French door of a bedroom that few people will see, but could be an issue if you’re putting it on a front door. It’ll be obvious it’s a film and not real glass due to the visible gaps. Also, this film is not a 100% privacy film. I knew that when I ordered it however others may not realize it. You can see through the spots/rocks/gravel… whatever you want to call them. If you want total blocking this one is not the best option.Onto looks, don’t expect this to throw sparkling rainbows and colors all over the place. The amount of color you see will greatly depend on how much light is reflected on it. More light will give you more color. Less light will give you just a frosted glass look. Keep in mind when choosing a location that lighting plays a huge role in getting the desired effect.Aside from the difficulty trimming, the installation was easy. It’s like all other privacy films… clean the glass surface well before installation. Use spray bottle of water and really coat the glass. In my experience the more water I use the easier it is to put up and maneuver into place. I use a wadded paper towel to smooth out any bubbles. It just works better for me versus a squeegee. If you can’t get a bubble out, gently lift the film from the bottom to the point where the bubble is, spray more water on the exposed glass and then slowly rub with a wadded paper towel in a downward direction. This usually fixes the bubbles for me.All in all, I am happy with this film. I do love that it can be easily removed with no sticky residue left behind. It can be reinstalled again as well. I actually remove and reinstall my window film daily so my cat can see outside during the day. It takes me less than 3 minutes to put it back up. Easy peasy!

i had never applied any type of window treatments, but once i got the hang of it, applying this was pretty easy just a little time consuming. as of today its been on for almost 2 weeks and i see no issues of it peeling/lifting.the look of it is gorgeous, the “pebbles” refract sunlight giving my floors little prisms of light my cats are loving to lay on.for applying, you really cant have too much soap/water mix, the more you have on the window and the film, the easier it was to maneuver, especially to get the crisp edges of the window

I was really hoping for more color and more privacy from this; there’s triangles that reflect a tad bit of color but not as much as pictured and the film doesn’t provide complete privacy- you can still see through the window. This went up much easier than some other privacy films and took me only 25 minutes to cover a large window office. You do get great value for the money as the amount covered by a single roll is a lot

I am giving it a 4 stars because it can use improvements.Positives: great design, rainbow effect on “rocks” is a nice touch. The front face is actually 3d and not flat. Gives it a good textureNegatives: because of the 3d texture, pretty hard to trim excess unless you are perfect to the millimeter, also pretty rough to get water bubbles out, the tool gets somewhat stuck to the texture.Workaround: spray extra and use the tool as you start to apply it slowly. No workaround for cutting. It is hard to cut and it lifts up as you try to cut and peel off excess. As you can see from my pictures (two of them showing four bottom panels done and one showing close up), my door has textured glass (facing outside) and flat glass inside so i had to apply this from inside and all the “fancy” texture/effect is more visible from the inside of the house rather than outside.

With a bit of trial and error, this peel & stick window privacy film is great! I've used similar products before so I had some tools on hand (squeegee, prep spray) that made it a little easier but it does technically come with a small skimmer thing to use if you don't have a squeegee. I have it pictured (this product is on the right window) next to another similar product that I applied at the same time. This one looks a bit different and the film is much thinner. This makes it a little easier to handle, but more difficult to lay completely flat and get the wrinkles out. I think this product is great for the price - it's a good amount of roll so I have extra to do other windows later.

I was thrilled to receive this and have a look. One side is smooth and thebother is textured. It looks pretty much like the pictures, except that the pattern is smaller than I expected form the photos.I had also hoped it would refract rainbow colors indmside the room and it does not. But it offers a pleasant frosted glass effect even though it does not fill the room with any colir
