I originally liked this, but after rattling for about a week, I discovered that the tray, when mounted behind my screen, was rubbing against the carbon fiber trim. The rubber pads that were supposed to protect my car were sitting too far forward, and didn't make contact with the trim. Instead, the middle of the tray was bare plastic, and the rattle was slowly rubbing the finish off of my carbon fiber. I checked that it was positioned and installed correctly, so my only recommendation is to add additional rubber pads to prevent this from happening to you. For the price, this should never have happened.

I bought this tray for my Model Y Juniper 2026. The bottom fits perfectly. However, the top tray is not aligning well, and I am skeptical when we apply the break. (so far good 2 days) I've to wait for other manufacturers to come up with a super duper design of this product. Additionally, it is affecting the speaker's sound, just for your information.

The main part of this kit works really well. It attaches to the Tesla screen, and it almost have a soft open, soft close feel. Please note, it is not soft close or open, but it almost has the feel. The silicone liners also give it a nicer tactile experience. I will say its important to keep it closed while driving. Sudden changes in driving can cause things to fall out when driving. The table portion locks fairly securely to the base unit. Mine did have a small issue. One of the pins that rest on the center console was stuck. It still sat fairly securely on the console, but it does not sit as it was designed. I think it would be better if the table had dampening silicone feet, rather than the pin system. I think they did the pins, so you could still open the sliding door in the console.I like using the drop down compartment for sunglasses and other items, every day. The table will be fantastic for longer road trips. I have a 12 hour drive coming up in a few weeks. This was my primary reason for getting this. It'll be a great place to rest snacks and meals, while we drive, and or charge.

This product is a great addition to any Tesla Model 3, the hidden compartment does not provide a large storage space but just enough to place and hide small item that clutters your center console but needs to be accessed easily while driving like sunglasses, lighter, wallet etc. The top tray is a little too large if placed in the dashboard area and looks a little awkward. A small tissue box on top of the tray when in the dash can make it look nice and makes the tray look smaller and not that distracting. I almost remove 1 star cause of the tray's large size but I realized it is primarily designed to hold food and beverages & the tray's size can accommodate good amount of take out food box and drinks & I don't have to worry about falling drinks or food on my car's floor thanks to the non slip silicone mat that comes with package.If there is anything I hope to change in the design it would the way it is mounted (sliding tab with big plastic screw), I hope to see a different and more discreet design to hold the compartment behind the screen but as is, it is still a great product for Model 3 owners.
